Robert just called me (Bobbo) and he might not make it, he has a set
of 5 rims and tires he was planning on bringing to for Eric (Putter) He
is looking for someone that could maybe meet up with, that can relay
the rims to the meet incase he is unable to attend. Please PM me if

Here is the trail of tears so far....

1) George was looking for 'Vette style wheels for his 6-lug truck.
2) TCB-1 has a set that he recently replaced
3) TCB-1 is not going to make it to the meet.
4) TCB-1 made arrangements to have Bobbo bring them to Big Sandy.
5) GMan (George) isn't 100% sure if HE will make it either, so he mailed the funds to TCB-1 ahead of time.
6) George asked Bill & me to bring the wheels home for him in case he does not make it.

Now it seems that the 'alternate' first leg of the wheels-across-america-tour may be in trouble.

Please-oh-please if anyone can pick up the slack for the 1st leg....

I am in Mo going to the meet & leaving my place (Friday AM) but I live south of St. Louis about an hr drive. You need someone from Jefferson City or Kansas City coming east & south to get them this far.

Springfield is 193 miles NW of me. Way the other direction.

I PM'd a reply to Sammy. I MIGHT be able to get them to him. Just depends on when I am going to Colorado. I was really wanting to attend the meet and still MIGHT be able to depending on when I get back from Colorado and how funds are after the trip. I just want to make other arrangements in case I can't go. The only reason plans have changed is my mom found out last week she has a growth on her C7 in her neck and it is cancerous. The doctors are trying to schedule her in this week for surgery to remove the tumor. Hopefully if I know today when the surgery is and it is early enough in the week and all goes well I can still go. BUT, any help would be appreciated. I may be able to run them to Sammy but that depends on when I have to leave or get back. Sorry for the troubles, but one way or another the wheels will get there.

Well, another change in plan. I spoke with my mom last night after arranging everything with Mudder and Sammy. She is going in for a PET scan today and the results of that test won't be in for a couple of days, so, the surgery won't be until next week. I thought it might be better to go there after the surgery and spend a couple days rather than be there for the surgery when she won't be feeling well. She has assured me this surgery has a very low risk of anything serious happening and the recovery time will be quicker than her last surgery 1 1/2 years ago. So after all that is said, the wife and I WILL be attending the meet. :) So the wheels WILL be coming with me! :) Thanks again Mudder and Sammy for the help! Will see you all there and if you would keep my mom in your prayers! THANKS!

Holy Corn. This has more twists & turns than a John Grisham movie. Just when you think you have it all figured out, you find out it was the cross-eyed guy who was in the coffee shop at the beginning of the movie sipping his Vanilla-latte, extra skinny, no lid.

I am leaving from Northwest Indiana about 5:30 in the morning. Heading over to 57 in Ill and going south to catch 64 towards Big Sandy.
