OK, for the August theme for this month’s TOTM contest will be:

BBs!

Big Block Power Baby!!!

Now here are the rules or criteria the vehicles must meet in order to be nominated

The vehicle nominated needs to belong to a board member during the time of the contest.
This month's contest is open to all Trucks, Blazers, Suburbans, Tahoes, Yukons, and Jimmys where the power train is a Big Block. This includes any make Big Block Power, Chevy, Buick, Cadillac, or Pontiac
It must be together and able to move on its own power. It does not have to be licensed for street use.
If a truck has been a TOTM winner during 2006, 2007, or 2008, it is ineligible for the current contest. If the truck was nominated but was not selected as a TOTM winner then it may be nominated and compete in this month's category.

To Nominate:

You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. Just add the nomination to this thread. We will need a picture or two of the nominee vehicle, the owner’s board name, and any of the basics specs (year, engine/drive train specs) you or your nominee wish to provide.

I will be looking for 1 picture showing a good view of the entire truck and 1 with of the engine for use in the voting threads. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM.

Nominees will through Jul 25. If additional information is needed, I will PM the first 15 nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Poll thread will be set up in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all of the voting. The Poll will start to run on Jul 26 and will run until the morning of August 1. The official announcement of the winner will be on the afternoon of August 1. The announcement of this month’s TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

I will put up my 56 Chevy truck up for nomination. It has a 1972 Chevy 402 in it with a 400 turbo trans and a 1979 Cadillac disc brake rear end. The cab has been extended abi=out 22". I freshened up the interior from the van seats that I was using to a set fo 2003 truck seats for more comfort. It has a Dakota digital dash, power steering and power brakes with a Vintage air set-up in it.
