View Full Version : It's now time for Woody's second annual "Meet and Eat"
woodridge 07-21-2008, 10:17 PM I meant to get this started earlier but things have been a little hectic but better late than never.
I will be having my second annual "Meet and Eat" Saturday,August 30th, that is Labor Day weekend. Any of you that want to, are welcome to come on Friday and camp out or stay at an almost local motel.
The party will start when the first one gets here and end when the last one leaves. Last year there was a great turn out and Luv2xclr8 almost got away with my 72 only extreme bend tow hooks.
I will post a menu in the next few days, I will provide the main menu and if you have a special desert you would like to bring that would be great. Just post here who and how many will be coming.
OK, here is the menu:
Grilled Polish sausage, Brats and weiners.
Grilled Peppers and Onions
Oven Roasted Potatos
Salad
Baked Beans
What can be brought:
Potato Salad
Pasta Salad

Drinks
Deserts
Let me know if there is a special dietary need or if any of the kids would rather not have any of the grilled items.

Ron 586 08-11-2008, 07:34 PM I wish I could blame the Zoo Crew for my weighing 280 pounds. But I can't, so I just bare the shame and grab another burger.

woodridge 08-15-2008, 07:25 AM Thanks Bill I'll ad you to the list. Shifty, I'ts a short drive so come on up. I see why you thought the post was wrong, I added the rest of the board name "Tvblazer78" so not to be confused with "Tnblazerk5". You know you can count me in. I'll be solo though. Mandi and Halen will be at a friends in Oak Ridge.

woodridge 08-26-2008, 09:12 AM First post updated.
Ron 586 08-27-2008, 04:38 PM I will not be able to make the meet this week end. Health issues (mine, Naomi's, Mom Ruel, and Hannah) just make it impossible for me to make it this week end. Have a good time and take lots of picture
LUV2XCLR8 08-27-2008, 06:18 PM Sorry to hear that Ron, Woody did you ever make a Parts Thread?
woodridge 08-28-2008, 06:52 AM Hmm, no I guess I didn't. I will have some things laid out and if anyone wants to bring things that will be fine. Too much going on.
Ron, I am sorry you won't be able to make it but your and your family's health is most important. I guess I will have to assume temporary duty of "Resident Papaw" in your absence.

Just got back from Naomi's doctors appointment and he said it's tendinitis. He said to stay off of it for a week and use ice packs on it. He gave her a shot and a dose pack of antibiotics and will see her next week. So go ahead and take care of the "Resident Papaw" duty until I can catch up. Will see you at Luv's big go I hope.
woodridge 08-28-2008, 12:51 PM Tell Naomi I have "Been there done that" with the tendonitis. Hope she gets well soon and I will do my best in your place.
LUV2XCLR8 09-01-2008, 04:27 PM I had a freaking blast as usual, TYVM for all the hospitality. My frame will never
be the same again  (Or my F@#$ tranny for that matter) I only wish that Ron
had been there also to take pictures for us since we failed to take very many
