So, i want my kick panels to be semigloss black. what kind of paint (spray can) should i use? prep work? i have no idea how to do plastic stuff.

What i always do is clean the part very well with dish soap and water....Then ever so easy scuff the piece with a Grey Scotch bright pad.....Clean with thinner, Then a wax and grease remover, Then i use a adhesive promoter.< that step can be skipped > but it does help........Duplicolor makes a great Spray-Bomb just for plastic panels ....The Trick i always use it Multiple coats.......Do a light piss coat, then a medium one....Final and last i nail it....Another tip is ......After the part has been dry for a day or so....Scuff it back up with 800-1000 ( do not sand through ) clean. wax and grease remover.then clear it.....Again....Piss coat to start with....Medium 2nd coat....And then Nail it....
