for sale is a perfect quad headlight gmc grille. chrome is perfect and is complete with headlight rings and headlights. Asking $250 + shipping. I dont have a picture because I am out on the road, but you wont be disappointed. I dont think it has the correct GMC letters, but they are in great shape also.
I have 2 of these, the other one is not quite perfect. Its missing the GMC letters and has a small ding near the center, but is otherwise complete. asking $225 + shipping for it. Yep, it got here yesterday. :metal: Looks good, no dents and 4 unbroken Westinghouse lamps. Nothing wrong with the letters, that's just the way they did them in '66. It was the first year of the squared off lettering and red insert. I don't even have to swap them out. :gmc2:

it's the gmc letters I'm missing.I just picked up a 66 gmc suburban that I'm going to put on a military pickup frame.It took me two days to pull it out of the back of a wooded path behind a farmers house.Pretty cool though it will be a fun project.If you know where I can get the gmc letters let me know.

Not trying to hijack the post...I wish I needed a GMC grille, however I deal primarily with 4-5-6 Chevy trucks, so I don't need a GMC grille at this time, but that thing is beautiful.

The picture in the first post doesn't neccesarily represent the grilee that's still for sale, there were 2 grilles and the one left is the lower-quality of the two. That is what I've gathered.

Thanks, that's exactly what I understood as well. I was hoping that by now, if he still had the lower quality one, his camera would be working, as he started off by saying he would try to get photo's up. Maybe I'll PM him as I don't think he's following this thread anymore.
