Finally got the young son married off and by then he'll have five weeks of basic training behind him. That said... life is settling down for me since the wedding. I SHOULD be there. Never know what Uncle Sam may throw my way.

Last year everyone started arriving around 10am, and we had burgers going on the grill n food ready by 12:30. A good portion of us that didn't have a long drive to get back home stayed till they dang near kicked us out! We'll be camping there that weekend so we'll be around the whole time and after. I can't wait it's gonna be a blast!

Looks like I may can make it again LIZ. I start my 7 day break that Friday. Man I love this new position I took at work.

It would be sweet if I ever hear from Honda aircraft and they want me out there by then.

I was hoping to make a trip down but just got too much going on to get it done. Will be at Maggie valley in the spring if nothing rip, ravels, or breaks. Have fun and stay safe.

Well it looks like I'm going to miss it also. I have a golf cart in the garage that I need parts for and I have them at the beach waiting on me. Ocean Lakes campground is also having there cart show on the 11 so I guess I'm headed to the beach. Haven't seen my daughter in 3 weeks either, she lives there so I guess I'll see you all next time hopefully.

The weather is looking iffy, and the attendance is going to be iffy as well :D BUT we will still be there and have the grill fired up. If it rains some we have shelter, they are calling for an iffy morning and great afternoon. We have had get togethers with less then a dozen and more then we can count and either way works :) All that can come, just show up and have some fun.
I hope the local folks will not be scared away by the forecast.

I'm still exhausted from last week (a 5 hour round trip drive in a rickety old truck won't help that), I have to work this weekend to catch up from missing last week :crazy: and the 67 decided to develop a fuel leak at the filler neck that conveniently drips gas onto the exhaust if I put more than 1/4 tank in the truck at a time :banghead:

I look forward to making it next spring along with Maggie Valley for the first time evah! :metal:
