I just posted this by mistake in the eastern section.

Anyway I was thinking since we have our own new section now we need a place to post local swap meets and shows. I am always missing shows becuase I find out about them the day after.
Tomorrow in Houston

Made the swap meet @ HRP . Saw Steve (STP67-72) there . I think the hurricane made for a smaller show .

It is this weekend.

I am going, probably Saturday morning.
It is kind of a late bloomer, most people do not show up too early.

For something a little different....This week-end (11.08.08) in Kingsbury (east of Sequin) @ the Old Kingsbury Aerodrome Airport, they are having their Fall Gathering of Vintage airplanes and cars/trucks. There is more info on the HAMB if anyone is interested. I plan on taking my 65 out there unless my wife has other ideas......

We should do something, I can actually drive the CST10 this time, for sure!

If you northwest houston guys don't mind a drive, anyone interested in going to the Show Boat Drive-in?

great post.....

I think the horse track thing may not happen again, the cost for the meet (the organizer) as i understood he said the cost was way too much? Backyard88 may have soem more details, trying to get something/place so we can have a meet and greet, the weather is getting much better so maybe soon..

Tons of parking. Get there about an hour before sun down to get a good spot, and relax.

The food ain't even half bad, but you can bring your own too. :metal:
