Hey all you louisiana/ east texas people out there, kind of short notice but there is a show coming up in DeRidder, LA at the airport called wheels and rotors on nov1, i am doing my darndest to try and get nemo running to attend if I gotta put wood blocks in suspension to get it there so be it the show is only 1 1/2 miles from my house. would like to see you all there.

I wish that I could make it, but I'll be out of town that weekend. I will spread the word though. By the way, I think that the Louisiana crew is going to get together in Oberlin the following weekend, so if you, or anyone else wants to come, let us know.

nevermind guys......at least I won't be able to make it.....got a new assigment at work and i will be working through the weekend...possibly the next weekend to.

So does that mean that you will not be at the car show on saturday? I was going to come and see your truck.....i am not far i am right there in oberlin......

yep, I won't be able to make to the show, I'll be at work from 4:30am til around 7:00pm both sat and sun.....but, you can just drop by and see it....my schedule for the next weekend at your place Oberlin is still open. doubt I'll be able to drive it there though (still need to plumb air ride for a trip like that)...with these new hours I have even less time to work on it now than before.....gotta love the Army

Yeah i can understand that with the new hours......Can you tell me what time it starts and its at the airport???? I sure hope that you can make it too the get together on the 9th at my place and if so and you can not bring the truck just bring some pics if you can and the story to go along with it......

its at the airport, from 9:00 to 4:00. if I remember right they are supposed to giving free airplane rides too. last year i was there on display with a blackhawk helicopter. ther were only about 45 cars/ trucks, 30 antique airplanes, 4 helicopters, and 30 or so motorcycles. This year they are expecting over twice as much of a turn out. and at 700pm there is a cage fight out at the covered arena (20$ ticket) west of town on 190.
