COTM - Chop of the Month - October 2008

I thought just like last year I would make the theme:

I hope we get alot of entries this time.

I will let it run til the end of the month and get a poll up first thing in November or as soon as we get 30 entries.

To get an idea what we are looking for here I am posting the original picture from last year and the picture that won.

Truck in downtown Sao Paulo, where it's still working long hours like it did 60+ years ago, when it was first introduced.

I just couldn't get any lazier... for the Halloween part, there's a black cat on the front seat (you can't see it... it's behind the door) ;)

Wow, this is some good stuff so far. One question for XXL, why is the cat driving the opposite direction of the buses around him?

Okay. I guess I'll go ahead and throw mine in. I haven't changed anything on it in about a week so I might as well. I really liked it till I saw some of your guys' chops. Very nice.

All I have is windows paint...
So I did some body mods: chopped,sectioned,lowered, lenghtened the rear fenders and shortened the bed.
A quick shop logo for the halloween factor....

Don't worry...I spent too much time as well. People will never see it, but I spent a solid 8 hours + on mine. My wife just don't get it...she thinks it's work, but it really is fun sometimes.

The outlining of all the little source photos, coloring, shading, blending, etc. Takes time that you just don't see. Especially when you aren't a pro. The good guys at this stuff would knock it out in no time I bet.

Yea thats what im talkin about. I spent at least that much time if not more, but it flew by, found myself working into the wee hours of the mornin sometimes, lol. I must say though, u can really learn a lot through trial and error, thats basically how i learned to everything on ps, besides u guys....

Mine took about 2 weeks working on it here and there. I don´t have any idea how much time I put into mine.

For the poll I will post the pics in the size allowed for attachments so they will all be about the same size. (max. width 642)

I used to put up all kinds of rules but I stopped because I think it scared the choppers off.

One of the rules were that you could change your chop as often as you want but only one would be entered. All you have to do is tell me you want to enter the picture from post #21 or #44.

You could do that if you want but I am going to scale them all down to a max width of 642 anyways so all the pictures are the same size and everyone has the same chance.

You could also save your picture online at image shack or photo bucket and post the full size picture using .
