What should I expect to pay in the DFW area to powdercoat the frame and the suspension for my truck? I went to my paint and body guy to get prices for paint and he said his father-in-law has an oven big enough to bake the frame but couldn't shoot me a guess on the work. I'm just looking for a little insight on this so I don't pay too much. He went ahead and shot me a price of $400 for paint which I thought was reasonable to paint the whole frame and suspension and clearcoat it gloss black.
Id go powdercoat...it should be around the same price.

I would powder coat your
chassis and suspension parts. It will be alot more durable and the price we pay to have these parts done run around $550-650.00
to have done

I'm bias here but yes, powdercoating is much more durable and worth the extra money over painting :)

Powder coating if you have a choice.Price is about the same. Also easier to keep clean once truck is on the road.

Powdercoating is the way to go, I just painted mine and it has already chiped in a few small spots. Just depends on what you're looking for...I don't know of a place in DFW but I know they exist!
