Well for me that is..


I have been out of work for over a month now..


I was fabricating for the last two years building sand rails.. With the economy being the way it is, it finally got slow and I had to move on..

So after looking locally for awhile with no luck. I contacted a old boss(monster rails original owner ) and he had opened some pawnshops.

So I got in at the pawnshop and was running a ebay store for them, it went good for about 2 months. I was making a weekly check and 10 % commission on the ebay sales.. Money was good when stuff was selling..

After netting over 9000 $ for them and doing a ton of other work, I was left hanging...

I called in and asked what was going on, didn't get a call or anything..And I wasn't sure what time he wanted me there... He text me saying his partner got laid off from his job of 15 years....He worked for Mark Christopher Chevrolet...And got laid off..

So I was left hanging....close to broke and bills to pay..


But today I got a call........





Getting this call today from Desert Dynamics was a HUGE relief..


I can get back to work, doing what I love and save some money !!!

Its another off-road fabrication shop that is busy with all kinds of different race cars...from trophy trucks to trophy lites...

Time to buy another truck so ole blue can get its heart transplant !! :metal:



I'm hoping this New Year will be a good one full of great things and windows of opportunity !!



All I know is my truck will get some LOVIN !!

Thats great news. I'm glad you are able to make some money doing what you like to do.

Congrats! It's great just to find a job, but one in the line of work you were already familiar with must be a huge bonus.

I was getting down on myself for awhile, big fights with the ole lady and so on..

Money is a ***** but you will always remember who the real ***** is...( Insert Death Smiley Here LOL )


But that Lady has kept me on a good path, thats for sure. Without getting into a whole life story, She saved me from a very dark and Straight road to NO where....6 feet under most likely.

Like I stated before Im stoked to go back to work.

And once again I thank the CHEVY friends of the truck forum !!
