View Full Version : Lowes Abingdon 72K5er 02-04-2009, 08:43 AM Does anyone ever go to the Lowes in Abingdon on a Friday night in the summer? They have a huge gathering every Friday night. There is every kind of classic car and truck there. The manager of the store is into cars so he is all for it. There are usually a few hundred cars and trucks there. They have a big sceen they show old races on. I am hoping to be on the road so I can go this year. My neighbor has a nice old 55 Chevy that he takes up every week. redneckgirl 02-04-2009, 10:58 AM I've wanted to go, but I'm usually working weekends. I know a lot of guys that head down there pretty regular (ever seen the buick hearse?) They usually stop by work and hang out a while...I work at the Hickory Wawa...so I get to hang out with them some. Keep your eye out, if you get up there, for this guy.
