youtube welding video. Good video if you have no idea what you are doing.
YouTube - how to mig weld, or wire feed weld.

yea, just a couple things....never weld on a wet floor, and never weld on concrete. Concrete has oxygen in it and it will pop on you while welding. Plus, I'm not sure about Argon, but I know for sure acetylene has "fillers" added in the bottle. If you lay an acetylene bottle on it's side during use, you'll get the fillers instead of gas. Just not a good idea.

Where do you weld then if not for a concrete floor on a metal bench maybe?

Only welded in my high school days years ago but I noticed he said in the video "my gauges don't work" .... LOL, huh ?

Still informative for guys like me with little experience. Thanks for postin it

okay video. The equip. is old but still will work. When i weld with fluxed core my welds look the same. I would expect a little better with gas.

Man!.. Y'all are rough on the poor guy aincha? Why don't y'all just say something bad about his mother while you're at it.
Run down his dirty garage.
Rag him about the floor being wet.
Rag him about oxidation.
Rag him about a concrete floor (which I've welded on many times by the way, never had a problem).
Rag him about his equipment maintenance.
Rag him about his welds, saying that his gas welds look like your fluxcore welds.
Rag him about his bottle on it's side.
Rag him about his welder making noise.
Y'all suck! This kind of nonsense totally pi**es me off!! Now there's nothing left for me to rag him about!... I bet his momma can't weld either.

Amen to Hair.

I watched the Farmer's stick welding video. It was interesting too. His videos may not be perfect, but you can learn something. Thanks for pointing it out hotrod.

The UK site is worth visiting as well.

Alot of info for somebody whos never welded. Just don't take his bodywork advice or your truck will look like his van in a year! And dont weld on a wet floor. If he would have put his knee on the floor or his hand down, the video would have been funnier.
