I know the weather may be rainy, but hopefully there will be quite a few cars show up. I may be working that afternoon, so if you come by pop in the store and say hey!

Yeah I've gone to look at the car shows at Rose Rock Car Show for the last 3 years. I know the ole' boy who hosts it and I always come to see what shows up. It's almost always a place that you have to really search for parking. Seen pretty good turnouts.

Yeah parking is usually a problem for the show. It's one of those things when you have it at a business that is still trying to operate, and with everything else going on with the parade and all it gets kind of crowded. Then this year with the rain we didn't get to put the cars in the grass areas so it cut down on even more parking. I was still surprised on how many cars still showed up considering the weather.

You guys took off before you could check out my cousins Camaro. I'll post a pic of it here in a bit.

That's a pretty clean camaro and I have always dug that color blue on a vehicle. Props to your cousin.

It's a wicked color and great year for Camaro. Reminds me of my grandpa's story of talking to a buddy of his back in the day. His buddy said he painted his truck Iroc blue or something, and my grandpa asked what Iroc blue was. The guy closed his eyes and whispered, "It's a reallll pretty blue." LOL!

Yeah him and some of his friends went there. They have some sweet cars. One guy has a 69 Z28 DZ302 car, and a 69 SS396 Chevelle. His brother has a 69 Mach 1 Mustang, a 71 Tempest, and a 88 Mustang. Another guy has 2 69 Camaro's, and a 87 Chevy SWB. One has a 72 Cutlass. Not a bad showing when they all get together. They are all heading on the power tour here in a few weeks.

elk city rodders 14th annual car show june 6-7th. saturday car show at 8:00am to 4:00pm. stereo contest at 12.00 noon saturday, burn outs at 2:00p.m. saturday. And my favorite grudge race 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on 7th street 4 lane concrete. Extremely fast cars from texas and oklahoma will be there. Was a blast last year. Hopefully i have my headers on my truck to race this year.

I'd like to check that out. We will see as it gets closer.

Yeah when I looked on the Firelake site I was a little disappointed with it. Hardly any info at all. That and I've only heard of it by word of mouth, no advertising that I know of.

The summer sizzler car show is in Mustang Oklahoma on July 11th. I know, the same day as Jasons cook out.

I've heard both ways. I heard it was really good, and then I've heard from some that it's not worth dealing with the heat for it. I don't think I have any plans that day so I would probably be up for it if everyone else is in.

I'm considering taking my 68 GTO to the show but I may not stay the whole time. I don't know if they will let me set up my quick canopy or not. The name is for sure "Summer Sizzler" and it will be HOT!!!

What time does it start? We might go for a little while the come home and cook out.

Check in for the car show is 7:00 to 11:00 am. The judging for awards is 11:00 to 1:00 pm. Awards presentation is 2:30 to 3:00. I don't know if I'll stay that long because of the heat and the GTO air doesn't work right now.

Car Show at Freddy's Frozen Custard off of 19th on I-35 in Moore on Aug. 15th (this Saturday)

Showyouridez.com is setting it up, but American Muscle of OKC (americanmuscleokc.com) car club is hosting it. I'm just recently joined in with them. 15$ to enter your vehicle in the show and the first 50 entrees get a Dash Plaque. There will be door prizes and around 100+ cars attending. Several sponsors giving out free T shirts and donations being taken with all the proceeds to give to the Back Pack For Kids charity. Our club will personally give out a "club" trophy to be the American Muscle chosen favorite of the show. The time will be from 12-5.

That figures. I'm supposed to have the scoot there at Fort blunder Harley-Davidson at noon. Mabey I'll see you up there.

Saw your truck at the show today very cool truck. Planned on driving mine there just to get some motivation to repair the wrecked fender! Took all the boys along so had to drive the wifes mini van!!!! very cool show and lots of vehicles, heard around 180. good turn out of our year trucks there but spread out from each other. Maybe next year will have mine fixed and show wearthy again.
