I bought some of the VHT Flat Red Header Paint to paint my engine and it's freaking orange. Anybody know of a REAL flat red engine paint? I guess I could buy some more of my blazer paint and go with it, it's just so expensive.

BC/CC can be used. I have sprayed many blocks and engine parts with it. Urethanes can hold up to 600-800 degrees F. Expensive maybe, but if you can get the look you desire, it will be worth every penny.

If you use Dupont Chroma One you can have any color you want and it will hold-up. On light colors you may see some discoloraztion at the exhaust ports
