Nice truck.

You're from Loxahatchee?

I use to live there. Started elementary in '87 at Lox groves. That place was a WHOLE different world until Andrew hit in '92. Then all that crap from miami moved up and ruined the place.

Was an extremely country area EVERYWHERE and RPB was a little Florida town. Even WPB was nice then.

Used to live on F road south of Okeechobee.

Hey, I live in TN now, about 45 minutes east of Nashville.

They really ruined that place down there, was really country, now just wannabe.

did it work?

Hey
Just wanted to explain real quick why your links are not working.
Most message boards do not allow html and use bbcode. In bbcode., instead of using the <a href = tag, you use tags

alt tags are not allowed either, to many bad folks use html images and alt tags for stuff.

your first link was

<a href="http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=50778952&albumID=1901695&imageID=50386113"><img src="http://hotlink.myspacecdn.com/images02/60/8bc76ea34d7647c5a233a173b971f9df/m.jpg" alt="" /></a>

this would be as follows in bbcode

[img]http://hotlink.myspacecdn.com/images02/60/8bc76ea34d7647c5a233a173b971f9df/m.jpg

when its posted like that in a thread, the result is the following,.

http://hotlink.myspacecdn.com/images02/60/8bc76ea34d7647c5a233a173b971f9df/m.jpg

sorry to hijack, just wanted to be sure yall understood why it was the way it was

Are you wanting to go back to the original colors? If not I would say that they did a heck of a job painting it, and would just run with it. However if you are wanting it back original colors maybe someone else can help figure out some other areas to help find some info on it. I would assume that it was primarily silver just because so much of the interior metal was silver. I mean they could have stripped the interior all down and painted inside too. May be one of those unanswered questions as to which two tone scheme it had.

3r!c84
07-17-2009, 05:12 PM
clean on that side lol it has a nice dent in the door on the other

do any of you have the same problem how its hard to close the door, like u have to slame it.but with the window is open it closes nice?

menace121978
07-17-2009, 06:40 PM
check to see if the stud the door latches to has a plastic washer/spacer on it. without it the door has to be slammed shut. on mine we used black tape on the driverside to act like that plastic piece.

3r!c84
07-17-2009, 06:55 PM
thanks that kinda helped but if like a window is open and i close the door its ez.its like the cab is so air tight?

menace121978
07-17-2009, 07:02 PM
mine used to be the same way till i took her all apart!

3r!c84
07-17-2009, 07:07 PM
thats how the dent is on the side from.the old owner locked the door and closed it and closed half way and threw his hip into the door:sumo:

yea how did u fix it again you took it apart?

menace121978
07-17-2009, 07:12 PM
no taking it apart was a joke because of the frame off im doing. if it is because its so air tight theres really nothing you can do. the plastic piece on the latch stud broke on mine and it was REALLY hard to close. just check to see if the passenger side stud looks the same as the driverside.

3r!c84
07-17-2009, 07:16 PM
oh yea i remember seeing your thread :metal:
the Striker? it should have some plastic around it?
