No list of parts you will be taking Joe? :D
If I was at a different point right now... I would definitely consider the '72, that thing is beautiful!
C20-67_N_MO 04-01-2009, 08:58 AM I wish I could make it but I am sure I will make one event to meet up with you guys.
724x4a/cchevy 04-01-2009, 12:44 PM The guys on the HAMB said the Woodlands lost their gaming license and had to shut down. Doesn't bother me any. Now its like 40 miles closer to home! :) Comparing the two parking lots using google earth, worlds of fun parking lot probably has just as many spaces. I wouldn't miss it!
72BlckButy 04-01-2009, 12:59 PM Justin, give me a call if/when you make it up there.
I think we're going to have a mini board meet this weekend. :D
piecesparts 04-01-2009, 03:22 PM Look for the Genuine Chevy GMC Truck Club banner. The club will be there selling and buying like there is no tomorrow. Always welcome truckers.
tcb-1 04-01-2009, 04:16 PM we'll be up there at a crack of dawn. starts at 6:00am!!
Joesjunk 04-01-2009, 04:20 PM Doug, Ill save you a whole box of junk. Just so you dont miss out on anything!!!

724x4a/cchevy 04-01-2009, 06:08 PM If the weather's nice, I'll be wearing my Norwood board meet shirt.
Justin
72BlckButy 04-02-2009, 07:04 AM You guy's live to close... I would have to leave at 3:30 to make it there by 6:00 am.
72BlckButy 04-03-2009, 06:38 AM back to the top...
lolife99 04-05-2009, 08:01 AM OK,... who got all the deals?
GRIMSS 04-05-2009, 08:15 AM Big fat zero here, unless you count a couple hotwheels.
Looked like there were some to be had just not what I was looking for.
One thing I should have went back for was a 55-56 GMC hood ($50 i think), but didn't need it. It was just cool and you don't see them that often.
72BlckButy 04-05-2009, 08:25 AM Nothing found here... :(
And Jared, I turned on my phone this morning and guess what I had... a message from you.
My phone never even rang! Don't you just love cell phones.
There was a great turnout of vendors, and I was like 20 minutes late in walking away with a free 250. After we left the meet we ran over to Classic Parts and picked up a few things.
Ran into tcb-1, bigdon-70blazer, joesjunk, and had a message from GRIMSS.
Anyone else locate anything?
Skirkpat 04-05-2009, 09:13 AM I was pretty disappointed, it looked like a rumage sale instead of a swap meet...and the prices were stupid, in my opinion of course. I did see a few deals though, and it was pretty early for me to be bargain shopping? I did notice alot of people "not" carrying things....my girl bought an Indian belt buckle that was pretty cool!
GRIMSS 04-05-2009, 09:13 AM No prob. As I was trying to get to the parking lot tcb-1 spotted me.
Kind of glad I didn't find anything, last week I ordered my IFS from Scott's.
72BlckButy 04-05-2009, 09:16 AM I did seem to notice a lot of junk around the area, but I guess times are tough...
What did everyone think of the new location?
GRIMSS 04-05-2009, 09:21 AM I didn't like it as much. Kind of felt like I was jumping around missing stuff.
Skirkpat 04-05-2009, 09:53 AM I thought it was strange that WOF was open, is it me or is it pretty early in the year to be riding Rollercoasters? I liked that it was 10 minutes from my house, and Looks like it was a good turnout? I mainly go to support the Shriners, I am a big fan of Fez's
Joesjunk 04-05-2009, 10:40 AM I did pretty good selling parts, lots better than I thought!! Got a few people interetsed in the truck, one very serious.
BLAZERMAN 04-06-2009, 05:46 PM I think there was a great turnout of people and lots of vendors, just nothing there that I needed so I left empty handed.
tcb-1 04-09-2009, 09:01 PM got a nice dwell meter and a perfect T3 headlight Nate brought over for me from lolife99 (thanks Keith!).
My brother Don (bigdon-70blazer) finally met Nate and Joe.
Sorry Joe, I think Don talked your ear off! have you sold the bronze truck to the father/son you told me about?
Joesjunk 04-10-2009, 05:10 PM Doug, The son bought the truck today. It was sad to see it go, but I did build it to sell. It went to a good home though.
72BlckButy 04-10-2009, 07:09 PM Glad to hear that you sold it Joe, and Doug/Don it was great seeing you guys again.
I'll be in touch the next time I'm down south Don. :D
