Feel free to ad pics for anyone that went.. As we all know we can't cover all 82 acres and miss stuff...

I had a good time with the guys and hope to link up at the Truck show in Aug. I will plan a field trip day at my work (flight simulators!) for anyone that wants to come..

Here are some pics...

Never saw that lot with all of that 6 7-72 stuff..... I had a great time though. Never doing it in 1 day again. Leave NY at 5, get there at 930, leave Carlisle at 8, get home at 1230.... That was rough. I didn't get to see any of you guys mostly becuase that place is way too much to conquer in a day.

yep, two day event for sure..

the 67-72 stuff was pricey. These guys think that anything from the west is gold, and for the most part it is but i'm not spending $1500-$2500 for a cab!

The did have doors for $600 pair which isn't that far off... They are there every year...

I got a nice sunburn on the neck and I left at 4pm... I only live 45 minutes away so I feel for you guys that make the long drive.. next time bring a tent and camp for $10 outside the gate...

Yeah. it was a good time. We left NY around 6:30. got there at 10:30 after stopping for breakfast in Pittston, PA.

Was a good day. Stopped in and picked up my parts from JC and chatted for a bit. Didn't really get to meet anyone else though as we were busy.

I got a lot of parts needed for my truck, although no one had the inner rockers or torsion boxes I needed.

I found the HEI ends I needed and a couple other things to rewire my engine bay. Wish I had found that Dash Wiring harness as I could use it (PM me price if you want to sell) Only one I saw was at that 67-72 truck place, and the guy didn't want to sell it.

I got a high hump cover, some headlights, two clusters, power steering pump, gas filler, POR 15 for my frame, the wiring bits, and a 71 shop manual ($5)

Was looking for tires, but didn't see any cheap enough that I wanted to take home. We left around 7.

I am considering trying to get a space in the fall so that I don't have to walk as far when I pick up stuff. Plus I have some Tonka trucks I want to get rid of.

Hope to meet some more people next time.

come to the truck show in Aug, not as large but 99% truck so it's easier to find stuff. You can park in the infield for $10 too...

Hrm... I might have to try for that. Hopefully I can get the blazer roadworthy by then and can drive it down. And infield parking for $10 would be great.

Thanks Mike, for letting me see what I couldn`t see.I`ve always been a 1 day guy,but I`m only 1.5- hours away. You could always identify me.I was the guy with gouges in his finders and arms rom carrying stuff back and forth to the truck, walking at poweer walk speed, foaming at the mouth, parched and hungry, sunburnt right arm from facing up carrying things, eyes wide open darting back and forth, hobbling and groaning from pain by the end of the day.I`d never tell anyone I was going, just had to do this thing alone.
More from next door. That`s a Hudson "Big Boy" that Mike showed a better picture of.

I really liked this`66 Biscayne...

That Biscayne was my favorite car in the whole show!

Me and a buddy from work went out on Friday. I'm not ashamed to say that Carlisle beat me into submission and I had to throw in the towel after about 7.5 hours.

That was my first time there, needless to say I marked the truck show on my calendar, and I'm going 2 days, not 1. I found this car particularly interesting....

never enough money.Because, after you bought all the parts you need (and don`t need) there are vehicles and stupid stuff like gas pumps, signs vintage mini-bikes,Schwinn Sting-Rays...
