It's the shipping that kills the deal. Close to $450.00 to get them to you. So now you can sleep!

The front and rear tires have never seen the street nor the rear rims. The front rims were run on a buddy of mine's car for the summer. I was building a 57 Chevy 210 wagon and fell in love with my 62 Chev 4X4. So I parted out the car lost a ton of money on the parts and this is all I have left. I was thinking about Bigs and Smalls on another 63 but I really want a 4X4 again for the winter and to plow snow. The new plan is to drive my 2 wheel drive in the summer and a 4X4 in the winter. Haven't found a 63 cab and doors yet, Ive got everything else.

What are the offsets of the rears and fronts? 5x5 on the rims?

I have a 72 and I hope these will fit to the frame.

The rears are 7" offset. The bolt patterns are 5 on 4.5" and 5 on 5". Tubes come with the package.Shipping I can determine next week. And to think I used to drive through Thunder Bay once a month!

Fantastic, this is sounding better all the time. Any chance you are coming through Thunder Bay this month or next? It will save me on shipping!

You could even ship through greyhound as its going straight through Canada.

GreyHound said it would be about 120.00, but I told them everything weighed about 150 lbs... I might be way off. What do you think? I am not worried about fast delivery, so whatever is the cheapest.

As well, I gave you a home and business address. It might just be simpler for you to send it to the business address at the Thunder Bay Garrison. (I am in the Army.) Should be cheaper and I am there all day so they can just call me up from the front door.

I am really looking forward to these as it will save me having to buy them this Winter.

Just walked over to the Greyhound Terminal, they informed me that a parcel cannot weigh more than 75lbs.So I'll weigh each piece to see if were within their shipping limits. Do you get a discount on shipping through the army?

BigCarl

I didn't get a discount if that was what you are asking. I spoke with the guy on the phone told him there were 4 tires and all together they would weigh about 150lbs. Again, I might be off on that.

I think they are closed right now as I tried calling them and there was no answer. I will give a drive by when I go out and try to get a little more out of him.

Do you have a phone number I can contact you through?

I went by greyhound, they were closed, I will stop by there tomorrow. I told the guy that I had 4 tires and that they shouldn't weigh more than 150 in total. 2 are bigger than the other 2. He said that it would be around 120.00.

He also said that you weigh things differently in Montreal, but it would be about the same price. So, I don't know if they weigh the total of the 4 pieces or each individually.

I`ll batch them to come as close to 75lbs. so they can be shipped in the fewest quantity. I don`t have a scale tonight.

Weighed the rims on a bathroom scale there very close to 75 lbs apiece. Greyhound only takes up to 75lbs by their scale. So I'll bring one of the biggies and weigh it with their scale. They said you could pay for delivery once it gets to Thunder Bay which might be to your advantage for the Army discount. They quoted me $147.00 for 225lbs. of packages and it doesn't matter how many packages there are.

Awesome. Can you get me the weight of a big wheel and of a small wheel that way I can confirm with the Greyhound here what is coming and what to expect. I don't want to show up to pick the wheels up here and they tell me I owe them a ton of cash.

According to greyhound $147.00 to ship. I put a biggie on their scale tonight 74.8 lbs. But they want it stretch wrapped. So it came in right close to their limit. If you want these send me your rank and name and I'll put that on the shipping label so there will be no confusion when the packages arrive in Thunder Bay. normanmeloche@gmail.com

Norm, let's make this right. I asked around on here before dealing with you. I was told by a few people that you are a good guy. I have spoken to a Moderator and have been told to give you one last chance to make this right.

A new tube will cost me $100.00, lets split this and you send me $50.00. If you can get me a Mickey Thompson tube for 50.00 or less, send that to me.

It wasn't right what you did.

Make it right.
