Hi Jerry
The chief and I had a great time. Glad I dragged his butt up there.
You are a real master at the BBQ....Your wife is a sweetheart too.
Had fun meeting everyone, all cool people, especially Buckeye Mike, what a kick with all his stories....He's was talking away and I realized this was the guy that did a road trip to Oregon to pick up some old station wagon. Almost was busted by the TSA, saw some awesome scenery and personally consumed about 100 gallons on Mountain Dew in a few days....
Really had fun talking with him and I'm sure we can hook him up with some sweet west coast machines in the future. Most likely missing engine and trans... Hey, it's better than seeing them head to places like Norway and New Zealand. Two cars I sold that's where they ended up.
So thanks again for making all the arrangements...Hope to see you all again soon.
Rich

Hey Jerry
A BIG THANK YOU to you and your family for putting this all together and inviting all of us into your home. I had a Great time meeting and talking to everyone. It was really nice putting faces with board names, ALL nice people. For those of you who could not make it, you missed some GREAT BBQ. The Tri Tip was Excellent as was the BBQ Chicken. My hat comes off to who ever made the Potatoes and the Beans to go along with it, I may have eaten a bit too much, Damn it was GOOD.
Good food, Great People, Nice Trucks and a Car, what more could a guy ask for

Thanks again

Lookin forward to next time
Steve

Thanx Steve. The beans were Larry's, it is a common request that he make those. The taters were mine (but the slicing of the taters and onions were compliments of my wife and sister). I'm with you can't wait to do it again.

Hey, Liz,

Go to Mike's thread "Leaving for California"; page 5, post #116, got 'em both in a pic there.
Not the best pic, but got 'em none the less.

I would have stopped by but i didn't get home until 4:30 and it would have taken me another 40 or so mins to get up there and I was playing softball all day so I was a bit tired. Had a reunion and saw some friends I have not seen in years so it was all good. Looks like you guys had a good time.

:metal:

Yeah, I wish I could have made it out, but you know how that goes. Things just got crazy WAY too quick earlier this month. Add to that the fact that i'm working even more now and we get a losing combination!

This week is crazy too, especially once it gets to the weekend. I Close Friday (2am) then go to a meeting with my DM Saturday morning (8am) then work again from 11am to 7pm then get home and replace a ceiling fan. Next morning, get up at 8am again to cut the grass, then work again, this time a 10-12 hour shift... Then I need to detail the Corvette. Oh yeah, and see the girlfriend somewhere in there too...

I'll tell Mayra you said Hi. She and I are gonna go have lunch in a bit.

Yep ,,I missed a good one thats for sure.. dont know if you live in San Francisco or not ,,but I calculate that some where about Medford or Ashland is half way between us and if we could get a camping trip for next year in one of them camp sites in that area ,,then we could tell stories to each other and drink some beer and eat and eat and tell some more tales and drink some more beer sounds good to me ..and you could bring that cousin with ya too.. LOL Gopapa Larry

We're +/- an hour east of SF.

Had SOMEBODY told me they were heading north from 1000 Oaks to OR via I-5, I could have easily cruised over to the Stockton/Sacramento area for a short meet & greet, & maybe had lunch or something.
It's not like my unemployed self has a lot going on.

I'm not sure about the Medford/Ashland thing. If I went there I'd have to travel a little farther to visit an old friend that retired to Sisters.......If I got as far as Sisters, I'd then be forced to go on up & visit my Sis in Portland..........
The list could just go on, & on, & on............
