What's there to do for fun in Ottumwa,Iowa?A real good family friend came to visit this weekend and offered me a job on his farm.I would consider it because he will be overpaying me,but if there's nothing to do in the town then I don't want to do it.

an ex-fiance of mine was from there... but I never spent much time there....

was some good Morel hunting though....

Eddieville raceway is close by and has races every weekend. probably one of the better known 1/8 mi tracks in the region.

Des moines river runs through town. no clue if it's good for boating/fishing or not. Lake red rock is close by. that's a nice big lake.

i've never lived there, so i can't speak to the bars/restaurants.
