Not to sound like a noob, but does this fit a 71c10?

The 3'-6" length seemed a little long for my '70 trailer w/leaf spring suspension, so I drilled one new hole in the tire carrier which made it work nicely. I took it off because I moved the spare to the hitch. One of these holes will work for you:

Just saw this as I don't get over to the 60-66 section often. I see it has a bid now or I would have taken it for $35 shipped and adapted it to my 59. Good luck.
