I painted the Hot Rod this weekend. That's what i call the 71 GMC since it has glass packs and that big block. lol Reason it's a tease is because I have no pics yet. I painted it John Deere Blitz Black for that rat rod look until I can afford to fix the dings and do her up in the original White/Med Gold/White. I heard the stuff is pretty durable and wanted to protect her from rust.
I also found a few trucks at a yard out east of town on HWY 94. One was a 69 c30 Longhorn, bed is still intact and the cab is in decent shape, but I got the lower trim off her. They still have a nice looking hood too. couple other remnants of trucks there, cabs, doors and a few fenders. the interiors have been gutted pretty much though, no bezels or glove box doors. I was thinking of maybe buying the longhorn frame and box just because it's rare, but my wife barely let me get the trim.
