PA BOYS is it legal to drive with you hood off your truck in PA
IT might be a stupid but I don’t see any differences from a engine sticking out your hood with a blower on it or just losing the hood all together

I did here in miami florida for a few days while working on my truck and all I ever got from the local officers was thumbs up...of course i was driving normal not showing off.

I don't know about now, but when I lived there it was a no-no.

ok thanks I am going to call the state police and see if you can or not. I was thing that if I would smooth out my fire wall to a peace of art and the rest of the moter bay that i would not need one or I wounder what the fine is and if it is just worth doing it and paying the fine ??

Why is it illegal over there

The code/inspection laws for vehicles in PA are ultra strict, probably the toughest I have run across in the country. Some make sense, some don't, but if you want to drive, you must obey until the system allows you to make changes to the law.
