Would anyone in the area be interested in having a get-together in Ardmore, OK?

Ardmore Raceway is hosting the Blue River Car Club's annual Fall Thunder Car Show on September 12. It would be a good time and location to meet many of the area's board members, plus it would give those interested a chance to enter the show or run the track... We could meet in Ardmore for lunch then cruise to the dragstrip for their car show and grudge races.

I am a member of the Modocker's Car Club... It is more of an old guy's street rod club, but there several members also have 73-87 Chevys.

Our club is one of the oldest in our area, originally formed in the early 50's, and even has some of he original members still active.

Well I got dealt a serious blow this weekend. I got my weekends off wrong, and I have to work the 12th. :devil: I'm bummed man I was psyched about heading down there.

as of now the sale of the 454 is on hold, we are waiting to see if the whole truck sold...
and there are a couple interested parties

Not really. Our schedule doesn't really change. I work the same schedule every two weeks. I could get off, but then I have to get my cousin to work my place, then I have to work his. So then it's a whole messed up deal.
