The Big Green
08-24-2009, 10:25 PM
No, sure don't. I have a 4.11 open but I want it gone if you know anyone wanting that gear. I want a tall gear, 3:08 range. I'll keep my eyes open for that gear. My tall open gears are $400ish taken out and install the high gear. They aren't too high, 4.56's will be higher though. I can't get JP's number but i'm goin to run by his house when I get a chance.

Salisaw is closer since I'm in Fort Smith now. I like Centerville better. Most people like it there because they hookup better at Centerville.

I'm not sure what years I can use. Haven't changed mine in forever so I forget. They should be in great shape. They are in my truck now and it's never drove hard. It's a show truck.

I have a car 10bolt. It was in a 72 Nova for 10 passes at best. It was ran at Centerville and pulled the tires and it held up great! It has Moser axles, Richmond 4.11's, and Auburn posi. Can't get much lower gears in a 10, and I think that was about it.

I've never been to Petite Jeans swap meet. I always wanted to but never got around to going. I heard it's massive!, every part you'll ever need and if they don't have it they can get it.

The rearend is too wide, 6in too wide and if I have to cut up a good rearend and have good Moser axles I can't use then I can't use it. I found a 59 truck 9in with 4.56 gears that I may get. I'll cut it anyways but maybe the gears are good in it if I'm lucky.

limitedstreetoutlaw
09-20-2009, 06:02 PM
yea the swap meet is massive at least the first one of the year they have is i'v been 3 times and ya better be ready to walk and walk and walk lol the years i went there were a lot of venders there for the 67 to 72 trucks but its been a few years may be totally diffrent now.

if i had something to help ya out with the s-10 i would but i dont. my cuz has a s-10 and he as a ford somthing not a nine inch maybe an 8.8 not sure what it cam out of either but he has a 383 on the bottle and its holdin for him so far i did say SO FAR lol just a little street truck . from what i understand it bolts rite in i might be mistakin though could find out for ya

Probably an 8.8 from an Explorer, they bolt up but are a few inches wider thus needing a less bs wheel, but they are a good rearend.

I knew of that site but it's been so long I forgot all about it. There hood is a bit bigger, no 4in but a 4 3/4in hood. The race weight is $269 and then whatever shipping is.

The S-10 is going good, got some Draglites with 165's front and MT Sportsman Pros on back. I'm not liking the traction that the Pros offer. They just blow up when I hammer down lol. I can be deep in second and they blow off. I do have 3.42 gearing though so that doesn't help.

limitedstreetoutlaw
10-20-2009, 05:54 PM
glad to hear its going good. those MT Sportsman Pros suck bro thats what i had on my truck before i bought the MT DRAG RADIALS i tried every thing to get the pros to hook never would though fun tire if ya like to get stupid on the streets lol it didnt matter what gear i was in.i figured they would be a good tire being so soft and a wrinkle wall tire.

Not a lot man, just a bunch of nothing. Need to get some heads redone and swap them for the old wore out set on my '67. I got it out last Saturday, Andrew from No Law the video came down for a drag session. After that a few of us went back to a buddies house and hungout all night. He did a shoot on a truck down here Sunday morning, and that was different for me. It was a good weekend though.

The Big Green
12-13-2009, 01:09 PM
Not much here. I've been playing in the mud in my CJ. Big Green is in storage with trailer wheels on it lol. I sold the 20's a couple weeks ago. I have 24's ordered but they are on backorder like 3 months. That's ok because I'll have time to finish some stuff.

The Big Green
12-13-2009, 01:15 PM
Ready for next year when the dragstrip opens again? I had my S-10 out a couple months ago maybe, but it's put up now. Last trip out was fun. I wish I saw the look on the guys face when I smoked his new C6 Z06. He started it, but I finished. I pulled over to talk to him but he kept going. Not bad when a hybrid beats a $70,000 car.

limitedstreetoutlaw
12-14-2009, 12:09 AM
me ready lol no not close guess i need to start doing instead of pricing nonsense crap. I need to much stuff well maybe not so much need just want lol. I need my cage work done may know a guy who will do it now maybe, need to update the driveline (drive shaft u joints) new tranny cross member new fuel pump now need to start loosing wieght of it um new rear wheels and maybe the bottle im sure theres more crap i need to do. chit i need to get started lol

smokin z06's huh hell yea u need to get some good tires and bring that thing out next year every one i know either selling there stuff or just scared to take theres out

The Big Green
12-14-2009, 12:43 AM
I'll never sale my little toy. I want new tires but there's always something else that needs done. I'll race rolling about 30 or so but I just blow the tires up. I'll spin to 70 or so. This trucks too dang light. I need less weight and more power to the ground. I gotta get this thing hooking so I can take it to where it needs to be, the dragstrip. It's not the fastest thing out here but it's scary, I'm lucky I didn't hit the Z06 when I raced it. Keep in touch man, and we can go race these things come spring. Also, there's going to be a big Chevy meet this spring sometime. I want to make this meet, missed the last one.

limitedstreetoutlaw
12-15-2009, 02:09 PM
yea i could never sell mine either my cuz is the only one selling he needs money real bad other than that i think he would keep it. i think all you need is good tires and slide-a-links or caltracks course on the street its aways a diffrent story than it is at the track . and i hear yea bout always needing somthing else done when ya want somthing else. the dragstrip is were it needs to be i used to street race back in the day with my car and when i got the truck but my first pass down the track changed all that much more fun when u actually hook hard and u dont have to look fo blue lites in rear veiw thats a big plus lol.
u talkin bout the chevy show in tulsa or the one in arkansas? i cant remember where i heard bout one some were in ark from a freind
