I'm looking for a salvage yard in MN. It was many acres of classic vehicles. They had a postcard sized pic from the air to show you where to look for your parts. Does anyone know the name of this place? I did some googling and came up empty. Lost my patience and decided to post here. Thanks ya'll.

my only idea would be to call Nordstrums in Garretson, they would probably know, and are nice enough to share the information, even though it is a competitor so to speak.

Windy hills? Used to be good, but pretty picked over now.

Severly picked over. When they moved the cars around, Allan said some broke in half due to frame rust...so they scrapped them. The other side of the road is virtually empty now.

has some killer inside information on an auction next weekend. it's not far from you either.

<snif-snif> I smell a meet-n-greet in the works. Shawn, forget shingles, he can do it himself. we NEED to go.

I think they are in different markets. nordstrom's is strongly into late model. but nonetheless their # is 605-594-3910, I would talk to Marv (ext 110 IIRC). avoid Gary, he couldn't find his butt with a road map and both hands. LOL

Well, I don't know the town in MN. They dealt in old stuff, 30's to 60's maybe. My buddy was over that way for yesterday and called wanting to know the address. Just in case he was reasonably close to it. I can't remember the name and its starting to bother me. I used to live in Watertown and my boss went ther for 50's Buick parts, that was around 1993-4 though. I'm not totally sure how far into MN it was. Windy Hills does sound familiar, but I'm not sure

As for Winner, I have company for that weekend. They will run to RC friday, but I'm not sure when they will return. I'll keep you posted on that. Will probably be a last minute decision on my part though. Looks like a goood sale though.

Could it be Rohners in Wilmar? They don't have much for 30's-40's, but LOTS of 50's-70's.
