I need a crossmember from a 60-62 Chevy pickup which came with a powerglide. It bolts in to the X frame with 3 bolts on each end. A drive shaft from same vehicle would be great! Thanks :mm:

RU keeping the powerglide or switching to something different?

RU keeping the powerglide or switching to something different?

My truck came with a standard transmission, thus no auto crossmember. If I get the drive shaft from someone else's truck that had a powerglide, I'll probably put in a 350 Turbo of the same length just for convenience. If not, I'll probably go with a 700r4 and have a drive shaft made up. Either way, I'm doing away with the standard trans and going with a late model automatic. So, I mainly need the crossmember! Any suggestions are appreciated.

I am over to the east- about 35 mile east of Knoxville. 1/2 an hour from Gatlinburg. WE got several guys from the TNCTC board in your neighborhood.

I have a crossmember (chrome) that I was going to use in my 66 that I would let go cheap. Not sure if it fits your year or not, but it is for TH350.

$50 plus the freight. I'm going to Memphis the first weekend in December if that would help on the freight part.
