Does anybody know or have any experience with Ron Seeliger at Ron's Automotive in Paris, TX. I have had my engine there for a whole year!!! I thought it took maybe 1-2 weeks takin' it easy to complete an engine. I have got to find a way to get him to finish my motor but nothing seems to help and it's what keepin me from finishing or continuing work on my truck. I heard he does excellent work and some of the best but this is taking way to dang long. Any tips what to do?

The builder I ususally use takes a couple of months sometimes if he's real busy. I think a year is way to long. Can you pick it up and take it somewhere else?

I would confirm that by going by there to see what nearly done means!

He says he's got it at the house and not at the shop...

I don't know him so don't take this negatively, but make sure when you get it back(especially if he's assembling it) that you got what was yours and what you paid for.

OK............then make an appointment to go to his house to see the progress. Ifhe refuses...you know you have a problem.

I would double check it as well. I have a friend that had $8000 in a big block and found out that the pistons had not been fly cut on the first trip down the track. He would not stand behind it saying that is was not a piston to valve clearance issue.

This guy kept mentioning he was trying to get the piston to valve clearance correct and it sayin it was pretty tough...

The guy who buitl my heads took almost a year. He kept telling me they would be ready next week. I would go to get them and he always had a reason why they were not done. I finally told him I had to have them, so he told me they would be ready on Saturday. When I showed up 1 was ready and he was working on the other. I stayed until it was done. He did good work and was fair on price. He is a 1 man show and had a lot going on. Who knows why they take so long. Do check out to make sure he has them. I went to the shop at least once a month until I got my heads.
