I have to give credit to Travis and JohnC of Noble hardware for helping me assemble this awesome tie-down kit. It really makes the bed come alive, I'm telling you! :metal:

That's funny. We have the same engine, the same tranny, and the same gears and mine does pretty good. But then, I don't know how much you're driving yours and I'm used to the 4x4

I still have almost 3/4 tank after all the driving around we did today and I drove it last night after I put the fuel lines back on and it was just under full then.

so what was the problem with the locking gas cap?

Zoomin

I bought a locking cap for my Suburban. The key just spun in it and never engaged to pull the tongs in. Naturally this occurred the first time I wewnt to the gas station with it.

I sent an email to Stant after I couldn't find anything on their website. Then I googled and found some solutions. The method I used was a pair of channellocks. Came right off.

Nice to know that I would have slowed a criminal down, oh, maybe 2 seconds...

Ya know, I had all that other stuff on there, and you know how you get that feeling that something's just missing?? I studied it a bit and BINGO Pine Scent AIr Freshener. I went to Walmart first and all they had was bubblegum scent. I panicked, but then I remembered I saw some at the checkout line in Target. Sure enough!

I put it on there and BAM! It all came together! I'm tellin ya, it's like driving through Colorado now.
