What's the best way to remove seam sealer and that gunk they put between the heater box and firewall? I have been using a steel wire wheel on my drill, but that seems to just spread some of it around. Is there a good chemical remover?

Thanks!

Around the heater box I just used a chisel to scrape it off, it was real soft. Castrol Super Clean also seemed to clean it up good. Don't know about the seam sealer.

I use the wire wheel on my drill also. I clean up afterwards with Laquer thinner.
