I got 2 kenwood 6 in round and made boxes for them the boxes are 6in wide 6 in long and 4 in tall. I drilled 2 little hole in the floor and ran sheet metal screws into the bottom of the box (there was already 4 big holes in the floor so I though whats two more going to hert). I put a good cab on but I dont want to drill holes in the floor or glue any thing to it, does anyone have any other ideas how to fasten them to the floor?

You said that you don't want to glue them to the floor..... How about Velcro?

I had an 83 and I used velcro in case I wanted to put them outside to listen to while working.It worked fine.

How about welding some brackets?

If they go behind the seat you probably wil not need anything to hold them down.

I just sit mine behind the seat on some soft rags!
Seems to work good!
Sounds just as good behind the seat as it would cutting the door or makeing vent speaker enclosers!
