I hate to say it but the meet down south is a little out of the oic for me:( So I was sitting here thinking we could have a nor cal meeting? MABE ? I know there is a few guys from up north here, that would be interested.. I hope !


I was thinking some place like around San Francisco or mabe Sac, something like that. Then it is close for the guys in nothern NV, and all us guys with 10 mpg trucks don't have to go broke driving down south.

Anyone have any idea's ?

They have a car show here in salinas everymonth in the wendys / wal-mart parking lots. mabe we could do something like that? What about meeting at the November Good Guys car show in Pleasanton??? That gives us enough time to let everyone know, and that seems pretty central to most of us.
That particular show is Nov 8-9, and it features all years of vehicles, so there will probably be some 73-87s in the show as well.

My truck may not be ready by then, but would be great to see the trucks that are done and meet some members. Now lets look around the area to meet up some place while we are there and which day is best for everyone. There will be a swap meet to. Maybe someone who is local to the area can give us some ideas, I used to be from that area, but alot has changed since then. Lets Do it!!

This sunday the 7th i'm gonna be up in Lodi, Ca at Mickies Grove Park right off of hwy99 + 8 mile rd. I'll be at the chevytalk meet, it's all chevy cars + trucks. :) It starts at 10am till when ever, and $5 to enter at the gate. Make sure you tell the person at the gate you are there for the chevytalk meet, cause there is a inliners club meet on the same day. Hope you guys can make it. :)

I thought since the show starts to die down earlier than 5, we could try to be at Chili's for sure at 5pm or even a little earlier.

I thought we were all gonna meet before the show (those of us showing cars) so we could all be parked by each other in the show...

I will be showing my chevy and plan to get there about 7:30 AM? Anyone else showing thier truck? Parking together sounds like a good idea.

Has anyone been to the show in the past? Maybe we can try and meet up some where before at the show and then if there are others that could not meet up early could meet up at Chillis after?

I wont be getting to the show until fter 12:00 I am out for an early meeting , but am all down for an after show meet

Crap, I just realized this show is on a SATURDAY...I have Speech class for 5 hours on saturday morning/afternoon's :(

Well guys, I wont be there before the show starts, so those of you that get together, post a sign or something so those of us that get there later can find you all... aside of all the chevy trucks parked together..LOL

I'll be there on saturday. :) My truck is currently apart in the garage, so i'll be riding up with a few local guys. :) I'll be making a bee line for the swapmeet first thing when I get there. :D How will I meet up with you guys at the show? :)

Sorry guys, my dad and I missed the meet. We did not want to sit or drive in the rain. How was the weather? anyone got any pics?

Well the weather kind of screwed it up. Didn't get any pics. There were more of our trucks out in the parkig lot and car corral than entered in the show. A lot of swap meet people started leaving as soon as that rain kicked in. Truck Shop had a lot of great deals... too bad it was show only prices. I didn't get to meet any members. Well, until the next meeting, I hope to see you soon. Those of you in the area, Let's get together.
