I have to say I like what you've done with the outside. Med. Olive Rocks!:D Gee_Emm 08-26-2003, 11:21 PM Are you going for an orignal or custom look? I picked up a inside spare tire carrier last week. Are they the same as the 73 and up? FRENCHBLUE72 08-27-2003, 07:38 AM That olive blaz in the avatar was one I saw at the junkyard it's not mine.. Wish it was though...I am gonna go 1/2 and 1/2 on the interior ...stock but with my own touche's of modern nessisty.. Gee emm do you have pic's of the blazer tire carrier?? Gee_Emm 08-27-2003, 09:16 AM Here is a really bad shot of it in the background, It is supposed to stand upright behind the drivers side of the rear seat. bouncytruck 08-27-2003, 12:16 PM some photos I've saved - definately not mine. This one may be a truck... bouncytruck 08-27-2003, 12:18 PM This gem was on e-bay a while back... bouncytruck 08-27-2003, 12:19 PM nice yellow & brown rig. This one was in a magazine a couple years ago. bouncytruck 08-27-2003, 12:20 PM Blue one. I have no clue where I got this photo. bouncytruck 08-27-2003, 12:21 PM another... bouncytruck 08-27-2003, 01:23 PM blazer bed... bouncytruck 08-27-2003, 01:25 PM more of the second one. This thing had daisies painted all over it. Blazers should not be CUTE! Sorry, it's a little small. bouncytruck 08-27-2003, 01:26 PM I think this one belongs to a board member. bouncytruck 08-27-2003, 01:29 PM This is what I'm going to do for a stereo. Gotta keep it safe when the top is off. I've got a radio delete to cover the whole in the dash. I may hinge it some how and put some gages or a pop out cup holder in there (dash is already hacked!) http://www.4wheelparts.com:80/images/tufconsl.gif 1970cstblazer 08-27-2003, 02:15 PM Originally posted by Gee_Emm Here is a really bad shot of it in the background, It is supposed to stand upright behind the drivers side of the rear seat. That is the same one that is factory original in my '70. 1970blazin 08-27-2003, 06:30 PM Bouncy- where did you find that console?? I think that is cool. I was thinking about putting the stereo in the glove compartment, but that looks easier and safer! I also saw that DAISY blazer on ebay! YUCK! Did you ever see what that sold for?? FRENCHBLUE72 08-27-2003, 06:31 PM Not sure if the spare tire carrier's are the same or not?? That first interior shot is wild and the yellow white dasiy machine is too much for me.. Is that a tuffy box with the stereo mounted in it ?? Thank's for the pic's bouncy. bouncytruck 08-27-2003, 06:45 PM The console is a Tuffy Deluxe Stereo Security Console. They sell them at just about any 4x4 shop. Not sure what all you have in the South Sound area, but here's the link to 4wheelparts - http://www.4wheelparts.com:80/product2.asp?imseqn=172&occlass=TUFF&cat=CC bouncytruck 08-27-2003, 06:46 PM The console is a Tuffy Deluxe Stereo Security Console. NuBomb 08-27-2003, 10:58 PM Here's a radio shot. I think it is someone's from the board. BLAZERMAN 08-28-2003, 12:18 AM How about stock, kinda bland compared to the others. BLAZERMAN 08-28-2003, 12:19 AM . Mint68 02-27-2005, 09:01 PM I would first advise getting a "cool" cattle guard, and then mount a studed snow tire to it. Then, every sweet ride needs a phat bug deflector. Only the cool kids can handle the running boards, and cattle country mud flaps. But the eight foot whip is a must! 72c5 03-02-2005, 12:55 PM My idea would be to leave the stock radio in the dash, and mount a stereo in the center console or the glovebox.....for small money these days you can buy a great stereo reciever with a little remote control........you could use a small piece of velcro to stick the remote in a handy location and keep it from flying around............. FRENCHBLUE72 03-02-2005, 08:31 PM Holy cow this is an old post... Trifelynn 03-02-2005, 11:58 PM Did you do your interior? Would like to see some pics, if you did Old or not :) FRENCHBLUE72 03-03-2005, 07:17 PM Nope still have not gotten to that point yet just been collecting part's... dtlilly 03-03-2005, 11:14 PM I agree with Mint68, gotta have a 102" steel whip and a bug deflector  Also, here's a pic of the factory tire loop. |
