For you old hands at this- What should I get Paintshop Pro or Photoshop. Upsides and downsides to both would be appreciated.

Thanks

dmurphy- I have Paint Shop Pro and am just wondering if Photoshop is any better in any way, or any more intuitive to use. If not, then I guess it doesn't matter. I got your PM, btw. I think I will do some research and see if there is any real difference.

Any more input on this guys?

I use Paint Shop but I know that PhotoShop is a lot better. I just don't have the funds at the moment. I am checking to see if I can get a better deal for you guys. I have connections to buy it wholesale.

I'm a graphic designer and I've been using photoshop for over 10 years. To this day, I am still learning new tricks in photoshop. It is a very in-depth program and gets more so with each new version released. I have never used Paintshop Pro but if all your doing is resizing photos, some color changes, maybe lowering a truck, you probably don't need all the features (or price) of Photoshop.
