View Full Version : Anyone Need Some Decent Barn Doors? Mark540 09-17-2003, 04:08 PM I have a set I would like to get out of the garage, little surface rust underneath none on the outside panel. $125 to your door. Wanted to add the Chevrolet emblem is now gone. Thanks, Mark 68 Suburban 09-18-2003, 12:39 AM $125 shipped? I would be interested. jose 09-18-2003, 01:38 AM Last time i shipped a burb door it was expensive ! Mark540 09-18-2003, 07:11 AM Just want to get rid of them, so if I can cover shipping I am happy. 68 suburban they are yours if you want them, but they are probably not as clean as ones you would find in your neck of the woods. Heck if you go another 4 or 5 hours from Chicago I have a motor you can have, rebuilt with about 4000 miles on it before the clutch went out. 350, edelbrock carb, headers, all accessories. Your truck would be very tempting. GMCjunkie 09-18-2003, 09:00 AM Just FYI, If I remember right when I bought my barn doors and had them shipped from Texas to Ca. it was only about $72.00. They were shipped via Greyhound. CPNE 09-18-2003, 09:02 AM If Chris doesn't want them I do for $125 delivered! My ZIP is 03580 if you want to check on the cost. Mark540 09-18-2003, 10:14 AM Thanks, guys and gals, I think I can get them out at least at break even. I don't need them so I would rather see someone get them that needed them. Smokekiki wanted them, but couldn't afford them because of some unfortunate circumstances, I offered to send them to him anyway, but he said he couldn't let me do that, so just trying to make space for the project in the garage. I have more pics if interested, but should probably be sent via e-mail as they are high resolution. Forgot to add my buddy(nameless) cut the hinges instead of unbolting them, so at least the hinge side that attaches to the burb itself needs replaced. Thanks, Mark CPNE 09-18-2003, 10:19 AM PM'd you with e-mail address for pics. 68 Suburban 09-18-2003, 04:51 PM CPNE can have them :) Thanks Hmmmm and engine!!!! Mark540 09-19-2003, 02:35 PM Sold to CPNE, thanks Jeff! dmurphy68 09-21-2003, 08:28 AM Man I am a day late and a $ short. I could of came up and got them. What else you got anything good? Mark540 09-22-2003, 09:00 AM Well, as far as panel/suburban specific stuff, not much that I am not going to be using. Need a recently rebuilt motor? I am going with an LT1, $350 obo complete with everything. Edelbrock carb etc. The only other thing would be a 70 GMC hood if you want it you can have it I am going with a 68 chevy front end. Oh yeah have a suburban gas filler neck, no tank as well. 7T1BURB 09-28-2003, 05:28 AM MARK540: If the Suburban gas filler neck is still available, I'd like to get it.
