I just bought a Suburban yesterday and am really excited. I realize I have a desease and I don't have an answer to the question "What are you going to do with that?" but I couldn't pass it up.

Dan72cst 09-29-2003, 05:26 PM I'll go and pick it up this weekend. Pics will be after that. oldiron 10-04-2003, 12:55 AM Since we are almost next door neighbors I would like to see it also. Maybe we could meet up some where in the near future. Dan72cst 10-05-2003, 02:33 AM Sorry to leave you hanging, but got half way there and realized I forgot the camera. I got it moved today and stored at a friends house for now until I can make some more room. Its close by so I can swing by sometime and take some pics. Its pretty beat up, but its 4wd and its a suburban. oldiron 10-05-2003, 07:33 PM By any chance was it the green one over in Snohomish? Dan72cst 10-06-2003, 09:11 AM Not green, It is Orange and from Stanwood oldiron 10-06-2003, 02:02 PM I missed that one. I will bring over my green one sometime and we can compare burbs. LOL lazygaurd 10-07-2003, 03:55 PM Last weekend I went and looked at a 72 3/4 4x4 Chevy Burb in Marysville (exit 202) that is for sale. Not much body work to be done, but it needs a motor. Originally copper and white, with 3rd seat. He wants $2500.00 for it. Anyone interested let me know. Hey Oldiron, I ended up buying one in Arlington yesterday. A 72 GMC 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive, 61000. original miles. Factory tach AM/FM Dark Olive green with parchment interier. Bought it from the original owner. I will be going down to pick it up sometime in the next couple of weeks. He lives on 172nd. Have you seen the truck? Darrell... BLAZERMAN 10-07-2003, 09:12 PM Congrats Dan, cant wait to see the pics, I just became a burb owner myself. I salute you for saving her. :flag: sub-zero 10-15-2003, 10:12 PM Hey Dan, I'm in marysville too and I just bought my first sub on friday. The guy bought it that morning, found out it had REALLY bad brakes - read none- and put it up for sale that afternoon and I saw it on my way home sitting at the corner of 2nd and state. It was in the driveway 2 hrs later. 69 1/2 ton 2 whl drv, auto, pwr brks and steering. Already lowered but not well done. It's my one year plan because our 99 yukon goes back next oct. :D oldiron 10-15-2003, 10:52 PM OK guys we have to meet some where and check out these rigs. Three burbs in one area on this board. Sub-zero was on my way back to look at that burb on Sunday but it was gone. Looks like it went to a good home. Keep an eye out for me and stop by for a chat. sub-zero 10-16-2003, 12:00 AM will do oldiron. I have a 70 3/4 2wd thats "hot wheels blue" with a 7M3 sticker in the back window so if you see me flag me down.:bowtie: Dan72cst 10-16-2003, 09:02 AM Geeezzz I don't know that mine is in the same category as your guys. Mine doesn't have a motor or rear window and used to be a Forest Service truck so its all banged up and rusted. Love to get together though. sub-zero 10-16-2003, 05:32 PM as long as you got it, that's all that matters oldiron 10-27-2003, 11:27 PM Dan, Have you gotten any pictures of your burb yet? I really would like to see it. Dan72cst 10-28-2003, 11:43 PM I was just over there last weekend too....I haven't shot any pictures yet. It definately is a project. I'll get some probably this weekend. oldiron 10-29-2003, 08:44 AM If you need some help let me know. Dan72cst 11-13-2003, 10:54 PM I shot some pictures, but they all turned out dark, except this one. Dan72cst 11-13-2003, 10:56 PM This ones dark, but side view Canadian694x4 11-13-2003, 11:15 PM Looking good...I Like it Dan72cst. I got a spot for all 67-72 4x4's...you got plans for it yet? Dan72cst 11-13-2003, 11:55 PM Canadian694x4, I think they are only dreams at this point, but I need to get the motor/exhaust together and it should be a driver. It came with a lot of patch panels, but unfornately it came with the rust too. I'll have to buy many rolls of wire for the MIG welder. P.S. I'm getting a lot of Drum brakes around here and might have to join the 4wd/4wd club. LOL LeRoy 11-14-2003, 01:24 AM Dang, I'm feeling left out.
