I just bought a Suburban yesterday and am really excited. I realize I have a desease and I don't have an answer to the question "What are you going to do with that?" but I couldn't pass it up.

Since we are almost next door neighbors I would like to see it also.
Maybe we could meet up some where in the near future.

Sorry to leave you hanging, but got half way there and realized I forgot the camera. I got it moved today and stored at a friends house for now until I can make some more room. Its close by so I can swing by sometime and take some pics. Its pretty beat up, but its 4wd and its a suburban.

Last weekend I went and looked at a 72 3/4 4x4 Chevy Burb in Marysville (exit 202) that is for sale. Not much body work to be done, but it needs a motor. Originally copper and white, with 3rd seat. He wants $2500.00 for it. Anyone interested let me know.

Hey Oldiron, I ended up buying one in Arlington yesterday. A 72 GMC 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive, 61000. original miles. Factory tach AM/FM Dark Olive green with parchment interier. Bought it from the original owner. I will be going down to pick it up sometime in the next couple of weeks. He lives on 172nd. Have you seen the truck?

"Keep it out of the crusher." :)

A true lover of these trucks need not justify their purchases.

I salute you for saving her. :flag:

Hey Dan, I'm in marysville too and I just bought my first sub on friday. The guy bought it that morning, found out it had REALLY bad brakes - read none- and put it up for sale that afternoon and I saw it on my way home sitting at the corner of 2nd and state.
It was in the driveway 2 hrs later. 69 1/2 ton 2 whl drv, auto, pwr brks and steering. Already lowered but not well done.
It's my one year plan because our 99 yukon goes back next oct.
:D

OK guys we have to meet some where and check out these rigs. Three burbs in one area on this board.
Sub-zero was on my way back to look at that burb on Sunday but it was gone. Looks like it went to a good home.
Keep an eye out for me and stop by for a chat.

Geeezzz I don't know that mine is in the same category as your guys. Mine doesn't have a motor or rear window and used to be a Forest Service truck so its all banged up and rusted. Love to get together though.

Looking good...I Like it Dan72cst. I got a spot for all 67-72 4x4's...you got plans for it yet?

Canadian694x4,
I think they are only dreams at this point, but I need to get the motor/exhaust together and it should be a driver. It came with a lot of patch panels, but unfornately it came with the rust too. I'll have to buy many rolls of wire for the MIG welder.

P.S. I'm getting a lot of Drum brakes around here and might have to join the 4wd/4wd club. LOL
