Hey all,

I've been chatting about the 67 Panel I just bought in the General Forum and just saw this area.

Although I originally purchased this rusty truck to part out, the more research I do, the more rare I find the 67 Panels to be.

This is a 67 C10 2wd truck w/o engine or trans. The previous owner installed recovered blazer seats. It has the wood floor (not sure if all of them had that or not?) From the doors back it is rusted pretty bad, the prev owner used a bit of filler and painted it in the late 80's.

So far it looks like Wes, Junkyardjohn, Wild4wheels and GMCPaul have 67-8 Panels. I am very interested in finding more website or publications dedicated to these trucks.

Very cool truck. I don't know any info that you are looking for, but just purchased a 68 suburban that I will pick up tomorrow. It has rust in the rockers and floors, but came with a lot of patch panels. I'll have pictures in a few days.

I think panels are sweet. I even like that paint scheme. I say keep it.

Is anyone making replacement panels for these trucks yet?

I know they have suburban patch panels (finally), maybe they would also work for the panels!

Most suburban stuff should work.I have a 68 and a 67 put away for later.The wooden floor is standard.I have never seen one that didn't have it and I have looked at about a dozen panels of this era over the last 20-25 years.
The floor is different in the panels, the kick-up is right behind the seats instead of in front of the rear wheelwells.Also I have never seen a panel with clamshell doors.Post,E-mail or PM me if you have any questions,I don't have all the answers but I have owned one for 25 years. Also, paneltrucks.com is one website dedicated to panels though the 67-70 models are fairly rare.No panels built in 71-72.

BTW yours is a keeper.Most succumbed to the rigors of being hammered on by delivery guys who didn't give a $h!+!!!

I've been looking for panels myself. Know the worth of them and hard to come by.

You didn't by chance pick that up in Lansing, did you? There was one at a locksmith shop for years that I tried to buy that had the same paint scheme. The old guy kept giving the story about how "Someday" I'll fix it.

Hey, it was in Yipsilanti, south of Lansing. He said he 'restored' it back in the mid-Eighties and ran a 350 with a turbo-hydramatic in it until last year sometime.

I have a 70 panel. I have seen that site you posted before but i e-mailed the guy and it always came back. I am getting ready to pull the body on mine and do a stock floor body drop on her. sort of hate to do it because these trucks are so rare. Blue Beard gmc paul has a few panels maybee he will sell you one
