How many quarts of paint will it take to paint my truck, excluding the engine compartment?

Plan on 3 quarts, but have a gallon mixed up; it's always good to have some extra on hand, just in case.....:(

Also better to have a quart extra versus running out while painting :eek:

We order 6 qts to do a complete truck, interior,inside bed,under hood etc.

Ratios will be different depending on what type of paint you are using. This determines how much sprayable material you will have. Are you using B/C or enamel?.

i am not sure, what is B/C? i think we are going to go with a ppg color and one coat of clear. Underneath the hood and in the bed are not going to be painted.
