My first post, I got in here mainly to find out what kind of truck I have in my backyard. My dad parked it there years ago and I need to start removing vehicles.

I've lost the title, it is a GMC, has "custom" on the cab pillar, thought it was an early 60's. I can't find any VIN plate and so far can't find any numbers on the frame. The engine MAY have been replaced in the 70's.

Can you give me a clue on where to look for some stampings on the frame or any other places. There are no paper or plastic tags that I can find.

If I'm in the wrong place, give me a clue as to the correct forum. Thanx a bunch, WillJag

It it is a 60-66 GMC you need to visit Jolly's GMC website. It gives you all the goods on the 60's GMC.

i have a gmc door that im going to use on my 61 chev it has the moulding on it the big u that goes around the door let me know if you would be interested ill be able to get some pics this weekend. gotta love the dig camera :D
