does anybody know or has any body swapped an early 60's front cross member for a late 60's early 70's front suspension and cross member
im wondering if the cross member from a 1962 will interchange with a crossmember from 1970 any info would be appreciated

have been checking out doing it to my 65 but haven't yet. everything i have read has said to use 72 to 86 pickup front end . you can get the disc setup take the brake master & booster, proportioning valve, & don't forget the powersteering pump & hoses & brackets. good luck

i put a 82 front crossmember in my 62 a few holes bolted up plus i welded it too.. it took about 8 hours

if it would work for your 62 it should work for my 60,,,i was wonderin if the one i got in my 84gmc would work, its a 3/4 though...but with the whole truck, i would have everything i need..
