Chop top '63 (http://www.fonzedesign.com/chris63.htm) DOwn towards the bottom of the page, they show how they made the template to be transfered to the glass windshield. It'll definately will have to be done at a automotive glass shop to be sanded down to size. I hope this helps. David scottyd 04-10-2004, 11:24 AM thanks i actually checked out that truck on the if.com site too! yeah ill have to make a template but im just not too sure who to take the glass too, zenish 04-10-2004, 09:48 PM i wish i had if.com to do my body work.those guys are good! scottyd 04-10-2004, 11:32 PM yeah check out all the metal work that fonze has done to that merc! the rear roll pan is awesome PJ_STYLES 04-23-2004, 12:56 AM Any progress on the windshield yet? :) Also you have 1 piece side door windows? can you roll them all the way down?? cause i know without a chopped roof i don't think it is possible because the top of the door where the glass goes in is wider than the bottom. scottyd 04-23-2004, 06:57 PM hey phil, no windshield yet im building a shop to put the truck in 20x25 so all my efforts been going to that currently, the side windows im still working on what im going to have to do is have a little of the run exposed to help straighten the channel, heres a pic if you look close you can see it. although im looking for a better way cause im not too fond of this. later scott |
