Nice survivor truck. Virtually RUST FREE! It's got some bumps and bruises but the only rust I've been able to find is in the passenger side outer rocker. Cab corners, kick panels, cab braces all look great. From what I can tell, I'm the 4th owner. The truck has a factory 327, TH400 (recently rebuilt), power steering, factory front sway bar, factory rear over loads (coil spring rear end). 4.57 posi rear end. Class V trailer hitch with wiring. 16 inch wheels (2 front tires are nearly new). The front end has been rebuilt. All gauges (7 hole) appear to work fine, even the AM radio plays great. The tailgate is shot, but still closes. Wood bed floor. I've got the original GM key, owners manual and identa-plate. Email me for more pictures, robhartley@aol.com. This would make a good running resto, or a great parts truck......:D. Will take partial parts trades (NOS tailgate, aftermarket SWB bedsides, buddy buckets, swb steel floor.......) Let me know what ya got! 1970 1/2 Ton Suburban (factory big block, ac, ps, pb) Albuquerque, NM http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=2373&title=1970-1-2f2-ton-suburban-factory-big-block-2c-ac-2c-ps-2c-pb-albuquerque-2c-nm&cat=12 Tue, 22 Apr 2008 02:26:29 +0000

by: Hart_Rod

Description: Nice survivor 1970 1/2 Ton GMC Surburban for sale. It's got 102K original miles (I'm the third owner) with all of it's time being spent in New Mexico. 402 Big Block,Turbo 400, factory air, power steering, power brakes, 3.73 posi, front sway bar, liftgate/tailgate. Motor runs smooth and doesn't smoke when started. Transmission shifts firm. Fluids and filters have been changed in both. New fuel pump. Everything works (even AM radio), a/c blows cold. The only rust is in the rear quarters and the rockers. All the rust is external from what I can tell. No rust in the floorboards or any of the floor braces, even the kickpanels are solid. I'm the 3rd owner, 2nd owners (a lawyer and an engineer) owned it for 34 years. They used it to haul their hot air balloon around. I've even got the indenta plate and the original owners manual.
