To do that, carbon disc clutch packs, preloaded by a central spring assembly, are located behind each differential side gear. When torque input increases the clamping load on the clutch packs increases. That causes the chatter-free clutch packs to grab and transfer power to the other wheel. Muscle cars, hot rods and mild off-road vehicles should look to Eaton's limited-slip differential for their traction answers. And the fact is, Eaton's Posi units are virtually bullet proof. Selling vehicle as is as a Parts vehicle but must be taken complete. Motor has developed a knock after the radiator cracked near the oil cooling line. All the oil escaped while driving. Turned off car immediately and towed home. Radiator was replaced with a new unit and all fluid replaced but knock remains. Engine idles and starts perfectly with no knock but you can hear knock as RPM rises. knowing the rarity of these 2500 suburban and especially the 8.1's and the aftermarket LS market I am selling the car as is rather then delve any deeper into this myself. Before the radiator cracked it was my daily driver. Just fixed the rear A/C and the front and rear blow ice cold. So if you want a 8.1 complete front to rear or want to attempt the repair this one is for you. It is a beast of a machine and highly sought after by suburban enthusiasts. I know what this car is worth and what the engine even with the knock sells for all by itself as a short block so please don't bother to low ball me offers. No test drives as I do not want to potentially damage the engine but you can come by and hear it idle. if your out of state and want it shipped it can drive and be loaded under its own power. I just wouldn't drive it farther then needed. 65 gmc 1500 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=9755&title=65-gmc-1500&cat=11 Tue, 07 Jul 2020 18:29:59 +0000

by: Gimmie1965

Description: 65 gmc 1500 series. This truck has spent it's entire life in California. The rockers are clean and dry, as are the cab corners and steps. No rust on windshield posts, or cowl. Floorboards are also equally dry. No need to spend thousands of dollars on rust repair. The truck still retains it's original V8 (307), and 4 speed drivetrain. Original paperwork and protecto plate with the truck. Beautiful truck to restore, or change the fluids, check the brakes, put on new tires and drive it as is. I'm reluctantly offering my 1972 K20 Custom Camper for sale due to the purchase of a property that needs some work. I was using this truck as a driver until I had time to make it my next project but, my attention will be focused on this property for the next few years. This is a factory A/C, Posi, K20 Custom Camper with a clear title in my name and SPID I know these trucks very well and familiar with the issues they are prone to. Almost all of them have rust issues in the cab corners and rockers. Some have been bondoed up or hopefully repaired correctly. Knowing that, I'm not afraid to purchase one that needs work in these areas as I prefer to have them replaced with new metal correctly. I purchased this truck as it had some things I must have when I purchase one of these for my next project. Rock solid firewall and cowl. Rock solid rain gutters and windshield pinch weld. Well optioned Custom Camper with posi and A/C. Original unmolested truck with the original radio hole intact. An aftermarket radio was installed at some point but, the hole was not cut. Original SPID intact and readable, blue door sticker with VIN, and original VIN plate with correct rivets. I'm also a huge fan of this copper color and the truck retains the original paint on the interior and firewall which I was going to leave intact when I painted the truck back to its original copper/white color combo with parchment interior will be stunning. The original engine and transmission are recently rebuilt. Truck runs smooth as silk. I cannot believe how nice this truck idles one it reaches operating temperature. I will send videos of it running to any interested parties. I've driven the truck extensively around the local area. Goes down the freeway at 60-65. I'm guessing 4.11 gears. All marker lights, tail lights, headlights, and signals work. The original A/C compressor, brackets, condenser, steering column(currently has a mid 80's tilt column installed) are included. Original rubber floor covering in good condition. The upside of this truck is the engine and transmission have been rebuilt and it is a fairly original truck. The down fall is it will need some superficial sheet metal replacement due to a cheap paint and body job done 15 years ago. The truck will need patches or replacement metal on the fenders, doors, rockers, cab corners, and bed. My plan was to buy a rust free donor 2wd long bed from Eastern Washington or Oregon and use the bed, fenders, doors. Like I said, the important impossible to repair cowl and roof are in rock solid shape. The cab supports are all rock solid and do not require replacement which is rare since they hold dirt/mud. The cab bushings are also in great shape and do not require replacement! I have a clear title in my name. Rear canopy locks and I have the key for it. You can drive the truck home at your own risk. Probably safer and cost effective to just have it shipped home. I'm guessing shipping will run $400-$1000 depending on where it is goino. 89 454 SS http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=9690&title=89-454-ss&cat=14 Tue, 10 Apr 2018 23:54:27 +0000

by: Coreyscars

Description: 1989 c1500 that I put a 1996 454 and transmission. All stock with complete wiring and exhaust. Needs a few things to be perfect but a fun truck. Looks factory, I used the core support out of the c3500 so I could use the big radiator. I don't have the VIN and no way of getting it, I only have the License Plate number which at the time of sale 10 years ago was CA Blue Plate 1K01721. I believe it was sold to a guy in Central or possibly Northern California. Truck was a '47 Short Bed, 5 Window Deluxe Cab. Easiest way to identify it would be by the 4 '41-'48 Chevy Car tail lights in the narrowed rear bumper, the two Frenched antennas in the passenger side front fender, or the gas filler in the '47-only position on the passenger bed side (not in the cab like the '48-'54s). At the time of sale it was white primer with a purple top, seat was pleated pearl white vinyl with purple piping, had an ugly powder coated grill, handles and hood emblems were shaved. It was running a 250 c.i. Inline 6 with Clifford Headers & 4bbl Intake, being shifted by a 3 Speed Auto with Lokar Shifter. I'm not on the forums much these days, so please hit me up via email thirdeyeopener@gmail.com or Instagram @_thirdeyeopener_ with any info or possible leads. I know this is a Hail Mary, but I need to try. Thanks in advance. I am not looking for a project so much but to find a project that has been started and requires completion so I may complete it the way I wish. I would prefer 4wd but would consider a 2wd for right vehicle. I am also open to door configuration, but it must be an automatic. I honestly don't care if it has an engine or interior or if everything is original or not as the body is my main concern and I anticipate that much of it will not be stock when I am through - but need a good platform and don't want a rust bucket or a pile of parts as my skills are fairly limited :) Plans are to find something workable and build a daily driver with updated hardware and an original body. I have been looking without much real luck for quite some time so thought maybe someone here may know of an unfinished project or possibly direct me to a suitable vehicle, and for that, I will thank you in advance for your time and consideration. 1969 C10 CST short bed http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=9681&title=1969-c10-cst-short-bed&cat=12 Thu, 05 Apr 2018 13:10:51 +0000

by: SoCoC10 1972 C10 SWB Base beauty http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=9680&title=1972-c10-swb-base-beauty&cat=12 Thu, 29 Mar 2018 17:17:33 +0000

by: skytop

Description: See description among the photos. Please note this is a coil spring truck C-20. This truck was used regularly on a dry Southern Idaho farm until the original owner passed away around 1986. It sat for over 25 years in a barn before being sold to the next owner who had big plans to restore it. The second owner never got around to the restoration. I bought it from his widow and got the truck into it's current condition. Obviously the mileage cannot be verified but the paper trail and it's physical condition supports 121,267 original miles. The truck has 95% of the original paint with solid original rockers. Please look at the photos carefully as this is a true patina survivor truck. The roads are not salted in Idaho which is a contributing factor to why this truck is in the original condition that it is in. This truck starts up and drives down the road excellent; she has a Factory original numbers matching rebuilt 350 engine and rebuilt factory transmission. The truck was manufactured in the Fremont, CA Chevrolet plant. Some items to dress up the engine compartment were added. The engine doesn't leak or burn oil. Fresh oil change performed within 30 days. Compression test Static test on engine shows Cylinder 1 :130 PSI, Cylinder 2 : 125 PSI, Cylinder 3 : 130 PSI, cylinder 4 : 130 PSI, Cylinder 5 : 125 PSI, cylinder 6 : 130 PSI, cylinder 7 : 135 PSI, Cylinder 8 : 130 PSI. New parts purchased within the last 400 miles: new heater core, new thermostat, all new hoses, new fuel pump, new factory style windshield and gasket, new carpet kit, two new sill plates, seat cover, 4 new tires / wheels, 4 shocks/coils on all four corners, wrapped headers. Things it could use depending on the buyers preference: the fuel gauge stopped working consistently within the last 200 miles, cargo lamp doesn't work, original seat cover has tears on drivers side which is why I added a seat cover in case the next owner wanted to recover the factory seat to match the factory door panels. Truck has factory disc brakes that were redone recently. It stops smooth without pulling. The truck has plenty of power and a smooth exhaust sound. I am only selling this truck because I have way too many trucks to drive them regularly and my barn is too full. Please serious bidders and serious buyers only. Please ask any and all questions. I can assist with shipping the truck at the buyers expense. Local viewing can be arranged by setting an appointment. My phone number is (509)209-7262 between the hours of 8am and 9pm PST. I would respectfully request that only serious cash buyers call me. I have to sell four trucks to make room in the barn for my newest addiction of autocross racing. Or I can build another barn and I would be living in it. 1971 Chevy C 20 Survivor Idaho Farm Truck http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=9677&title=1971-chevy-c-20-survivor-idaho-farm-truck&cat=12 Sat, 24 Mar 2018 16:25:15 +0000

by: RIDDLER2018

Description: Here is a great all Idaho original Chevy Cheyenne C-20 Patina farm truck with original Cheyenne trim.
