All it needs is someone with some time and a body shop to finish the body/paint. I have spared absolutely NO EXPENSE through this build, if I could afford the parts they were purchased. I have done 90% of the work myself and only outsourced a few jobs like the cage and rearend to a very close and trusted shop. Selling this truck is the last thing I thought I'd ever do, but I am in a very tough position where I am forced to choose between this truck and another family vehicle that holds great centimental value to me. I have owned the truck since I was 14 years old (this was my first car) and there will be tears shed when I have to watch it leave, but I simply cannot afford to buy this other vehicle without letting it go. I have probably got nearly 17-20K invested in this project over the last 5 years and I know I can't get that out of it, but I know where I have to draw my lines. The intention of this truck was to be a smallblock, turbocharged, street/strip monster. I have the complete drivetrain (engine, trans, and turbo system), however these parts have a place in the new car. IF someone is interested in all of these parts also, a package price can be arranged. I would like $11,000 OBO for the truck, all offers will be heard and considered. Please no low ballers, this isn't my way of trying to make money and I'm not real happy about selling the truck at all, but I've got to do what I've got to do. When this was done the caprice front grill and bumper were replaced with parts from a buick roadmaster. The lower body trim, grille, and door handles were all painted purple pearl to match the car. -Removal of stock air box replaced by K&N style filter (stock parts come with the car) -Flowmaster 40 series flowmasters with dumps -PCM tune by PCMperformance (car was also datalogged and tuned for optimal performance) Suspension modifications: Vogtland drop springs, Bilstein heavy duty shocks, Energy suspension polyurethane end link kit, and ZQ8 bumpstops up front (roughly 5,000 mi. on the shocks, bumpstops, and end links, less than 1500 mi. on springs and alignment.) -Stock steel wheels paint matched to the car, new tires with less than 2500 miles on them. -Aftermarket panasonic CD player installed, Boston acoustic front door speakers. In late 2005 the following has been done: - New Water Pump & serpentine belt 6/2005 - New Optispark cap & rotor 6/2005 - New Ignition Coil 6/2005 - New plug wires 7/2005 - New Throttle position sensor 6/2005 - New ACDelco Oxygen Sensors 8/2005 - MAF Cleaned 8/2005 - New AC Delco Platinum plugs 7/2005 -New front cover seals replaced 5/2007 - New Intake Manifold and valve cover gaskets installed 8/2005. The engine is clean inside!!! - New oil pressure sender 8/2005. - New rear compartment GM grab handles and light lenses installed - 1995 Impala SS lower dash installed - Black door trim installed in rear, front parts were painted already and are presentable but not great - Passenger rear power window roller replaced, all power windows work as they should Interior panels are nice and clean. Carpet could use replacment but is fine for a driver. It is not torn or falling apart but does have a few stains. I cleaned it with a steamer in early '06. The rear seat is perfect and folds down. The car does have the third rear facing seat which works as well. The driver side armrest has a crack in the plastic mold and one screw missing but is clean. The other armrests are good. New GM impala SS switch panels are installed in the door panels that match the gray interior at the same time that the rear grab handles (mentioned above) were installed. All functions of the car work properly and the car drives and handles great. - Air conditioning compressor, drier and condensor all replaced in August 2005, blows ice cold now. $1200 worth of work including a brand new AC Delco compressor- Trans fluid & filter changed at 135000 miles What the car needs: -there is minor surface rust on the underside of the car, appears to be mainly surface corrosion only. A good blasting and undercoating would fix this problem. Also one small spot on the driver door sill, easy fix and hard to see. -The driver side armrest needs fixed or replaced. The plastic is broken but could be epoxied back together. (this is something that I can do before pick-up if neccesary) -Carpet could use replacement. On top of some staining, there was a hole cut in front of the seat on the tunnel where a impala SS console was once installed. -The car could use some rubber isolators on the front springs. The ride is not affected but the front suspension has a squeek due to the isolators not being installed. -It could really use new exhaust, it's got a few leaks and the mid pipes are still stock, which are quite restrictive to the flow of the exhaust. For a quick sale, I'm prepared to lose my butt on it. $5,000 as it sets, 300 extra for the spare 3.23 limited slip rearend that I also have for it. (backing plate to backing plate) A year ago I paid 5K for this car. I've lowered it, painted it, had the tune done, did the RMW front end conversion, and a number of other small things. So in short, I've done all this work and selling it for what I paid. EDITED WITH NEW PRICE. CHRISTMAS SPECIAL OF 4500.00!!!! 406 c.i.
