Description: Must go!! My loss is your gain!! Serious offers only please!!

I am selling my 1972 GMC Step-side Short-bed p/u. My grandfather was the original owner of this truck. I had always hoped to restore this beautiful truck, but have come to realize it's not going to happen anytime soon. So I might as well let somebody else have a shot at it.

It has factory front disc brakes, rear leaf springs (was considered a heavy 1/2 ton), a 12 bolt rear-end with 3.07 gears. The rear sliding window was in it when I got the truck, it is the best slider I have ever seen (I also still have the original rear glass). I put a ZZ4 crate motor in it about ten years ago along with a rebuilt turbo 350 tranny and have put about 60,000 mi. on them since then. The wheels are about the same age, with (a 5th) matching spare.

It has some rust around the top of the cab at the rain gutter, the rocker panels, and one of the front fenders.

I have some extra parts specifically for the truck that will go to whomever buys it. I also have a four bolt main engine (this motor was built by S&S Motors in San Leandro, it was a "fun" motor ) that was in the truck prior to the ZZ4 that for the right price can also be taken for the right price.

This truck has had no mods done to it, so in that sense it is a clean slate.

I no longer have a place to keep this truck so it must go. I will be taking the highest offer I can get, so don't be shy
