Description: 1969 Chevrolet C20 Limited Edition “Longhorn”
There is some discrepancy when these were made. The first year was either 1968 or 1969 and only went till 1972. They use the 133” 1 ton wheelbase frame and have an extra 6” added to the bed. They will haul a very heavy load. In 1969 a truck like this was built specifically for the idea of using a 12’ slide in camper.
This one is a 2 owner vehicle.
It has 94,000 original miles and the original owner put 91,000 of these miles on it. Everything on this truck is un-restored and completely original in excellent condition. The interior is in great condition being 40 years old. The canopy has been on the truck since new and the wood bed is in perfect original condition. It has been wired for dual batteries but only has one at the moment. It has been repainted at some point and looks in excellent shape and very shiny. However you can see minor chips and dents in the paint below, NO body work was ever done. From 10’ this truck looks brand new. Also the radio was replaced with a aftermarket one. There is very little rust. This truck is like a time capsule and needs to go to someone that can truly appreciate it as the original owner did. It runs and drives very well. I would not hesitate to get in it and drive it anywhere. Many of the engine parts are original GM parts. Many of the hoses still have original GM markings and part numbers. There is a brand new water pump as the original one was making some noise. The original date correct re-buildable water pump will be included with the truck, as it is worth a lot more to the originality of this truck than the $17.00 core charge. The spark plug wires are brand new as well. A new windshield was just installed and re-sealed also, with wipers thru Novus Auto Glass with warranty.
There is no “Blue Book” value on the C20 “Longhorn” which would be the highest, but NADA value on a 1969 Chevrolet C20 ¾ Ton Fleetside with a 396 engine is;
Low Retail $9,555.00
Average Retail $17,030.00
High Retail $40,300.00
This truck also has some very rare options and all of them work.
Manual throttle on the dash. (there are no aftermarket parts available for this type instrument cluster or option)
Front bumper guards
Front bumper spare tire holder
Cab roof marker lights.
No rear view mirror ever installed, and camper side mirrors
VERY rare 8’ 6” canopy with tinted glass and opening side windows
CST package
396 engine, TH400 transmission
Power steering
Power brakes
3 fuel tanks
The original glove box sticker or build sheet is intact and in very good condition it is as stated;

I hope someone that can appreciate this is out there and wants it beofre I part it out. The grille alone is over 1000.00 for an aftremarket one. you cant build this bed but to build a long bed aftermarket with all the trim it would cost over 3000.00. just the powersteering pump on ebay sells for over 300.00 and with a big block and all the extras the truck is worth more than im asking in parts. I kinda would hate to see something rare and in nice original condition parted.

I do have a 1972 power disk brake set available if wanted and can be installed. I have lots of 1967 -1972 trucks suburban and blazers that I have parts for. I just came across this and figured I would list it before parting.

Sure would love to own it. Short of cash right now. Look's like a great truck. Not to many un-restored and completely original trucks left. Hope someone on here picks it up. Good luck with the sale. Should go fast, priced to sell.
