Description: 1996 Chevy Centurion Crew Cab short bed Z-71 ½ ton 4x4

I’m selling my 1996 Silverado Z-71 Crew Cab pickup. This truck started life as an original regular cab ½ ton 4x4 and was built into a crew cab by Centurion Conversions Co straight from the factory. This truck was not cobbled together in a shop. For the few that know about these trucks, they are fairly rare and hard too find. Especially in this condition!

This Silverado is equipped with the Vortec 350, Auto transmission, push button 4x4, Full power, power bucket seats with center console, over head console with built in radar detector, dash cover, Pioner 6 disc cd changer and indash cd player, Viper alarm ( no remote ), matching Leer topper, has cloth interior and the A/C blows cold! Truck has 208k miles, but you would not think it was over 100k by looking at it!!

These are some items that have been done to this Z-71. I have receipts for most of the following.

-Rebuilt Transmission (4L60e) professionally rebuilt with quality parts. New TQ, prndl box, etc.. Less than 3k miles!
-Rebuilt transfercase ( seals, bushings, etc.. ) same time as Transmission to ensure tight drivetrain.
-Two-piece rear drive shafts have been rebuilt with new u-joints, carrier bearing and professionally weight balanced from ( Inland truck parts ).
-New Heavy Duty Radiator with engine/oil cooler.
-New Energy Suspension body bushings.
-New front Napa gold HD rotors and pads.
-New Carpet ( front and rear ).
-New fuel pump ( removed bed ).
-New front tires 265/75/16 Uniroyal Liberators! ( less than 500 miles ) !!
- 00-04 Z-71 wheels
-The A/C compressor, heater core, mufflers, water pump and other misc items have been recently replaced also.

The front-end of truck could use some attention at some point. I think one of the cv shafts is making a little noise at certain speeds, might need an alighnment? Truck does drive great and cruises down the Interstate at 75 with ease.

I have a 14 bolt sf 6 lug 4x4 rear-end with a locker that I can let go with the truck ( pending agreed selling price of truck ), not yet installed. This rear-end is a huge upgrade for bigger brakes and a lot better than the current smaller ½ ton axle!

I also have a Superchips Micro-Tuner for improved HP, Torque, Fuel economy, etc.. that may go with the truck ( pending agreed selling price of truck ).

This is a very nice, super clean and hard to find CCSB ½ ton Z-71 that I would put up against any truck of its body style. This truck has had lots of upgrades and many parts rebuilt. You would not have to do much too make this truck even better!
Be the only one around with this unique and extremely hard to find Centrution Crew Cab Z-71!!

The only reason I'm selling this great truck is I don't need 3 crew cabs!! Please PM or call for any questions. 615-477-6860. Thanks and God bless the USA!!

For the few people that called me on the truck, If you could call back that would be great. I left out of state the day after I placed the ad and was not able to retrieve those numbers or voicemails. I will be heading out of state again May 29th. To the other inquiries about trading... Sorry, I just want to make some room for other projects. Thanks again.

No the truck isn't sold yet. Unfortunately I have been working out of state and have not had the time at all too show to people. I had to remove it from a couple sites I had it listed at. PM me your email address and I can send you pictures. I am in Texas right now and will be in Atlanta through the weekend. After that I should hopefully be in Nashville for the month of July. I plan on listing the truck on ebay if its not sold in the next couple weeks. Thanks !!

I just posted the truck on Ebay. I hate to get rid of it but I keep beating around the bush. I found another driver I want. Good luck , you won't be disappointed.

I am way late to this party, but just wondering if this sold on eBay. If not, I might be interested in taking it off your hands.
