Description: Ok, one last big price reduction before it goes onto ebay. Please give this truck a nice home.

For sale rare 1972 Chevy C30 1 ton long step.

Truck has been totally restored. It is powered by its original 350/4 bolt main engine which has been totally rebuilt and has less than 1,000 miles on it. Engine features a high lift Edelbrock cam and Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. The high lift cam coupled with the new Flowmaster mufflers and custom two and a half inch exhaust give the truck a wicked sound. Truck has original heavy duty Muncie 4 speed transmission and heavy duty rear end. The rare nine foot bed has been restored with poplar wood and new trim strips. The bed sides have spray on bed liner. Truck is painted a custom two color scheme featuring Harley black and International Harvester red. Truck features the following new parts: bumper, grille, fender liners, park light assemblies, radiator, all hoses and belts, heater core, wiring harness from front to rear, all electrical components, new rubber and weather stripping, windshield, dash pad, tach and gauges, chrome instrument bezel, chrome glove box door, headliner, carpet, door panels, stereo, power seats in black and red to match truck, Cragar commercial chrome wheels, Cooper tires, brakes and brake accessories, ball joints, tie rod ends and all lights and lenses. Odometer has about 96K miles which is believed to be original miles. Truck came from Virginia so rust is not an issue. Truck is 1 of only approximately 975 to 1500 produced.

Recent work since previous owner: billet aluminum rear view mirror, new door hinges, new pinion seal, manual choke, electronic brake controller, frame mount class III hitch receiver, battery disconnect, battery tie down, S-10 steering wheel and color matched Chevrolet floor mats, all fluids and filters. Also, "new" rebuilt transmission recently installed,
so no transmission worries.

Book value over $27K on NADA. Previous owner easily invested close to $25k. Paint job alone would cost 5K .

I can provide more pictures upon request.

I hate that I have to sell, but two garaging options have fallen through for me, and I don't have a place to store it. It's a great truck!

If you still have this truck, I would like as much information as you can give me. If she really is a 1 ton, I looking for something to help out old Rocinante but she would have to be pretty rugged and not just gorgeous as she is.

------------------------------
Rocinante: 1972 GMC C25, 358, SM465, 14 bolt, power nothing, 440k and still handles my PCS moves
Betsy: Hyundai Roller-skate with lots of buttons for the wife
Tiny Tim: H-D Iron 883 (little, fits in the back of Rocinante)

So far, this is the oldest I've ever been.
