I am selling my 1965 Chevrolet C10 shortbed stepside truck. I have made many modifications to this truck and put a ton of work and money into it. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to drive it let alone the time to finish it up right now. This trucks runs perfectly and drives excellent in its current condition. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in it and drive it up north for the weekend tomorrow (if it wasn't the middle of the winter!). Here is a quick summary of the truck and of all of the modifications that I have made to it during the 4 years that I have owned it.
Suspension:
-Front crossmember and front suspension are off of a 1985 C10 and includes disc brakes. It also has all new urethane bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, and bearings throughout.
-Front of truck is lowered 3.5" with 1" drop coils and 2.5" drop spindles
-Rear of truck is dropped 5" with drop coils and an adjustable track bar
-C-notch has been installed on the frame above the rear axle to accommodate 5" of drop.
-Sway bars front and rear
-Power steering
-Power brakes
Engine
-1974 Chevy 350 small block
-Motor was built in 2010 and only has 2500 miles on it
-Speed pro flat top pistons
-Cylinder block was decked to increase compression
-World Products heads
-Edelbrock RPM intake
-Edelbrock 600cfm electric choke carburetor
-Holley Cam
-Rotating assembly was balanced
-Serpentine belt setup
-Electronic distributor
-Hedman long tube headers
-2.5" dual Magnaflow exhaust system. Custom built and run through frame crossmember to maximize ground clearance.
-Mini starter
Transmission:
-700R4 4-speed automatic out of a 1991 Corvette
-Custom built crossmember to maintain use of parking brake
Exterior:
-Bed smoothed with all stake pocket holes, bed rail ends, and holes from tailgate chains filled
-Hidden stainless tailgate latches and straps
-Wood bed floor with stainless steel strips
-Steel rollpan with flush taillights
-Gas tank removed from inside cab and new aluminum fuel cell installed under bed. Fuel filler hole in cab was filled and new filler was installed in bed floor.
-HID headlights
- Powder coated wheels, front bumper, and grille.
-Drip rail on cab has been partially shaved
Interior:
-Tilt steering column with shift lever
-Billet gauge bezel with Autometer gauges
-Late model bench seat. Driver seat has an adjustable slider under it.
Additional parts included with truck:
-Complete Ron Francis wiring harness
-Power window kit
-Shaved door handle kit
-Miscellaneous weatherstripping
-Other miscellaneous parts
I have stored the truck indoors since I have owned it. The body work and interior need to be finished up, but other than that it is ready to go.
I am asking $9500 obo and don't need to sell the truck.
Please contact me with any questions or interest.
